"Brie, the first shade was perfect...why change it?"

"I thought it was a bit too dull"

I sigh and stand to my feet "Brie, that's what nude is. This one you sent to me is too....pink. I don't know if it's the lighting since it's one the phone and I'll not there to see it physically, but it's really not giving. It's looking like a dress made for barbie....and not the good dress"

She chuckles over the phone "noted, boss. It's just lace, so I'll lose it and get the nude"

I sigh "thank you. How's everyone at work?"

"We're all good, but we're really stressed because of the fashion show"

"Sure, I can relate to that a bit. It'll soon be over though"

"How're you though? How's your baby?"

I walk to the kitchen and take out a bottle of juice "I'm doing fine though and according to the doctor...the baby's fine"

"That's good to here. You'll definitely be able to attend to fashion show, right?" She asked

"Of course, that's if the pregnancy doesn't exceed 9 months"

"Don't worry, you'll be fine. I have to go now, duty calls"

I chuckle "it's fine, we'll talk later"

I end the call not too long after and turn my attention to the VIP outfit

Third person's POV•

"Thank you Susan" Gloria said to her help as she exits the living room, leaving her with Brittany and Chloe

"It feels so nice to be in LA again" Brittany sighs with a smile

"Yet you guys only stay for three days max" Gloria rolls her eyes

Chloe chuckles "it's really not our faults, our lives are in New York"

"Speaking of New York" Brittany starts "you do know your friend's a big name in New York now, right?"

"Courtney?" She said "of course I do. That girl was born with that future....it was just delayed"

"I'm honestly happy for her though " Chloe chimed "we saw some designs she made for the boutique's VIP outfits and I was amazed....well wasn't really surprised after what she did with our outfits"

"For real though, I still look at my dress almost everyday" Brittany spoke "it scream high fashion, it screams.... Brittany" she smiles before sipping from her tea cup

"You'll be coming for the fashion show, right?" They ask Gloria

She let's out a small chuckle "I wouldn't miss it for the world, I'm dying to see Courtney"

"She would have changed a lot" Chloe smiles

A whole lot, Gloria smiles to herself

"Now, tell us how've been Gloria. How's Thomas"

She smiles "oh he's very fine, on a trip like always"

Courtney's POV•

"You're shaking, Courtney" Justina chuckles

"I'm so curious" I let out one also, rubbing my hands together "it's literally a gender reveal"

"But why don't you hostel a party for it? Just straight up opening the envelope here is a bit boring" she insists

I let out a sigh "I honestly can't do a gender reveal. My closet friends aren't here, I'm preparing for our fashion show, My baby's father does even know he's having a child" I shook my head "a gender reveal isn't really worth it right now"

She pouts and places a hand on my shoulder "I understand" she pulls a smile "everything will be fine"

Our attention was caught when the hospital room door was pushed open by the doctor

"Hello" he smiles

"Hi doctor" I smile nervously. I didn't really know why I was nervous, but I was

Why the suspense!

"So.....?" I asked

"Well, congratulations Miss Jones.... you're having a girl"

I felt blood rush through me......a girl.... I'm having a girl!

I let out a squeal "oh my God!" I place my hand over my mouth

"You're having a little you!" Justina said excitedly

The doctor stretches an envelope towards me "here's your ultrasound scan"

I gently take it from him "thank you, doctor" I was so filled with joy that my baby was all I could think about

I was having a little me...... everything feel so surreal!
