"Wanheda and the Ice King, as requested." Echo threw Clarke forward.

"Leave us." Faye ordered her guards away. She walked towards Roan. "You have a big problem with expressing gratitude. Clarke saved your life, and I believe you had a deal."

"She promised me an Azgeda Commander." He looked over to Clarke.

"There won't be any Azgeda in 6 months so stop wasting your time." Faye said. "Praimfaya. It'll be like that, a wave of radiation that'll kill everything in its path."

"Our ancestors survived Praimfaya, and so will we." Roan said.

"No you won't, not this time, not without Skaikru."

Roan's attention was drawn by the crowd outside calling for Skaikru's death.

"I don't know if we can stop it." Clarke said. "But if we can't, all of us will be dead in 6 months. Science is our only hope. Please, honor Lexa's coalition. Recognize Skaikru as the 13th Clan so we can go home and come up with a way for us to survive, all of us."

Roan scoffed. "Listen to that." He said, referring to the crowd. "You let them leave, you'll be dead in 6 days, not 6 months."

"You all have come for an execution, you will be sorely disappointed." Faye heard the murmurs and whispers of the crowd. "Every clan will honor the coalition of the former Commander, Lexa kom Trikru. An attack on Skaikru, is an attack on all of us. Ice Nation has agreed to this." She looked over at Roan.

The guards kept everyone from Faye as she made her way back to the throne room. Inside she found someone she did not know.

"Who are you?" She asked the stranger.

The girl took off her hood and revealed herself. "I am Gaia kom Trikru, Indra's daughter, and the last of the Flamekeepers."

"Titus never mentioned you." Faye said.

"Trust me, it's for the better. But we need to hurry. Without a Flamekeeper you are in great danger. And not from Ice Nation."

Gaia took Faye back to the Commander's chambers and began the ritual to summon all the past commanders and exile Sheidheda.

"How do you feel?" Gaia asked, watching Faye wake from the deep meditation.

"Tired." She said. They stood up from the floor just as a guard opened the door.

"Belomi kom Skaikru." The guard said, stepping aside to tell Bellamy in.

The guard left and Faye looked at Gaia, waiting for her to catch on.

Noticing the silence, Gaia looked over at Faye, suddenly realizing she was waiting for her to leave.

"Right. I should go check on the throne room. Make sure they clean up all the blood." She said sheepishly, leaving the room.

"Who's she?" Bellamy asked.

"My Flamekeeper. She's very new." Faye shrugged. "Something we have in common."

The room went silent as they looked at each other. Faye finally regained her composure and walked towards the bedside table.

"Something for your people." She grabbed a silver chain with a metal pendant. When she gave it to Bellamy, he was able to see the symbol of all 12 clans in the surface. "It will protect you in any of the clans."

"Ice Nation?" Bellamy asked.

"Ice Nation knows the consequences for betraying the coalition." Faye said, assuring him of their safety. "All your people have to do is stay in Arkadia."

He stepped closer, taking the object in his hand, his fingers lingering for a little too long.

Faye waited for him to leave, unless he had more to say.

"Last time I left someone I cared about here, it didn't end well." He stated, putting the chain around his neck.

"Clarke will be safe in Arkadia with you." Faye reminded him.

"I'm not talking about Clarke." He said.

Faye didn't remember when he put his hand to her face, but she didn't want him to leave.

She draped her hands around his neck as he pulled her closer.

When they pulled apart, they leaned their foreheads together and listened to the sound of their heavy breathing.

- - -

Bellamy watched Faye breathing slowly. He noticed all the small scars on her arms and back.

"I can feel you staring." Faye said, rolling over to face him.

Their hands met and they interlaced their fingers.

"I should go. The others are probably waiting."
