When Clarke saw Faye in the chair, bandages all over her arms, she almost forgot to keep up her act.
"And what is this?" She looked at Russell with a smile.
"This is how we make hosts." He told her.
"Bone marrow?" Clarke looked at the bottle next to Faye.
"Clarke, is that you?" Faye asked, still weak from being tranquilized. Madi was next to be drained when Faye was no longer useful.
"No. It's not. She put up a good fight, though." Clarke lied, watching Faye's eyes change. "Can't win them all."
Faye began to struggle against the restraints. "We're gonna kill you!" She yelled. "We're gonna kill all of you and everything you love!" Faye groaned as she tried hard to get free.
Clarke went to get a tranquilizer and put Faye to sleep. She watched Faye go still. "Hmm. How many doses can we get out of her before she dies? You know what? Never mind. It's time for my new drive. Being mortal sucks."
Russell grabbed the tranquilizer from his daughter's hands and walked around the room, searching for what he needed.
Clarke looked at Faye. She was a completely different person now.
While Russell put in Josephine's mind drive, he talked about everything that she had missed. Clarke listened while he finished her stitches.
"We should've killed you first." Faye spoke up, once again waking up. "Once we're free, you will burn."
Clarke knew it wasn't Faye. From what she had seen earlier, she was growing pale and her eyes were growing tired, as if she was still fighting Sheidheda.
"Well, that's a little dramatic." Clarke said.
"Uhh!" Faye tried for another escape. "You will all burn! You will not get rid of us! We are eternal!"
"Guards, bring the doctors." Russell ordered. "Stay still." He told his daughter when Clarke moved her head.
"She'll tear out the IVs. We have to tranq her again." Jackson said.
"I know what you're doing, Reyes. You think you're smart enough to get rid of me? If you don't stop, I will kill this girl." Sheidheda was now the one fighting to get free.
"That's better. Thank you." Russell said when Faye went still again.
Clarke tried to wipe the tear that was forming in her eyes. If Russell saw her crying, he would know she wasn't really Josephine.
"There. How do you feel?"
Clarke sat up and saw her mom looking at her with tears in her eyes. "Peachy keen Josephine." Clarke watched her mother begin to let her tears fall. "Oh, stop it. I'm not her."
"I will kill you for this." Abby spat in Russell's face. Raven and Jackson watched, knowing they would help her if she did.
"I once believed that I would never stray from the moral path, and then I killed my family in the first eclipse. I'd have done anything to bring them back. So I believe you." Russell said, almost sounding like he understood her, but Abby didn't believe him. "How many doses of the serum do you have?"
"4, including the one your people took to the machine shop for Simone." Jackson told him.
"6 Primes must be resurrected tonight. That's two more doses."
"Faye wouldn't survive that." Abby said, know Clarke would want her to look out for both Faye and Madi.
"If it's too hard for you to continue, my healers will take your place. They're already familiar with the process. It would be no trouble." Russell offered.
"No. I can do it." Abby declined his suggestion.
"Good. Remember, this was the deal that saved you from the pyre. I'd hate for that to change."
Both Russell and Josephine grabbed their things. "Toodle-loo." Clarke left the operating room.
Once they were gone, Abby began to sob for the loss of her daughter. Raven came to her side, stroking her back and holding her arm.

Bellamy and Octavia were outside with the Children of Gabriel, marching towards Sanctum. They assumed once they reached the wall, Clarke would've had it down.
"What do we do now?" Octavia asked when she saw the shield was still up.
"Now we wait." Bellamy said.
"Clarke will get it down." Octavia assured him.
Clarke wasn't the one Bellamy was worried about. When he left, Faye was killing Primes and her mind was being taken over by Sheidheda.
"You." Bellamy looked at Gabriel. "You can go in and help her."
"How, Bell? They know what he looks like from Jade. Besides, it's not the plan."
"Everyone, stand down. Stay low." Gabriel ordered his men. "Our of sight of the hourly patrols."
"I left them." Bellamy said, feeling guilty for leaving his people to die at the hands of the Primes.
"And that's why they're still alive." Octavia said.
"You don't know that. You heard Murphy. Faye's in trouble." Bellamy said.
"Faye's strong. She'll be okay." Octavia said, trying to reassure her brother.
"Everybody always thinks that. Hell, I do it, too. The truth is... you're fine until you're not." Bellamy said, trying not to think about how Faye acted like she was fine until Sheidheda was too strong. She hadn't bothered to tell him, he had to hear it through nightmares.
"And Murphy said he'd help." Octavia reminded him.
"Real comforting."
Octavia grabbed his hand. "Have some faith."
