-A few days after Praimfaya-
Clarke woke up and found Faye eating at a nearby table. "Ugh." Clarke sat up, looking at the needle in her arm.
Nightblood was pouring into her veins and water was hooked onto the other arm.
"Good, you're awake." Faye stood up.
"Faye? What happened?" Clarke tried to stand but quickly stumbled back onto the bed.
"I saved you with my blood." Faye said coldly. "I did the best I could, but I'm no doctor." Faye reached for her jacket.
"Wait. Where are you going?" Clarke asked, leaning on the bed as she stood.
"It doesn't matter. I'm going alone."
"No, you can't--" Clarke tried to walk but her legs were still weak. "We don't know if it's safe." Clarke warned her.
"That also doesn't matter. We're the last two people on Earth, Clarke. It just had to be you." Faye scoffed, grabbing her swords.
"What are you talking about?" Clarke now stood straight.
"You locked my people out just to save yours. You were willing to let us all die. Even me. I trusted you." Faye adjusted her swords on her back.
"I was trying to save the--"
"The human race. I know. That doesn't make it right." Faye walked up the stairs and Clarke pulled the leaves off and ran after her.
"Faye. Wait."
Faye turned suddenly and pushed Clarke away from her. "Get away from me. Nowe nodotaim! I saved your life more than once, but the first chance you got, you left me behind."
-42 days after Praimfaya-
Faye was tired of sweating with no progress. She tried to dig through the rubble but she couldn't find the bunker.
All of Polis had fallen. It was hard to recognize, but when Faye sat down and imagined all the buildings, it was beautiful.
Faye raided Mount Weather, gaining medicine, food, and water.
She went back to what she remembered to be Trikru land. She found Lincoln's cave was empty along with the Reaper tunnels. She mapped out the tunnels and land she traveled.
She found the drop ship and slept in it for days. She found a radio the Sky People used and took it for her own.
She'd traveled across the barest deserts and breathed the driest air.
At night, she would talk. She knew not even God listened to her, but she had to keep her sanity.
Faye traveled until she saw the only thing that could ever make her happy anymore.
She stared down at a green valley full of life. Although her water supply was good, she had run out of food days ago.
Everything was simple to her. Survive, just like she always had.
Survive the conclave. The mountain men. Survive however you can. And this time, she had no one else to worry about. The commander was now just a survivor.
Her location was marked on a nearby tree. Shadow Valley clan.
Faye walked towards a bunch of buildings where all the trees had colorful fabrics hanging from them. After seeing so many brown deserts, the color almost burned Faye's eyes.
Just a few feet away Faye saw something move. She drew her swords and watched Clarke turn to face her.
Faye dropped her swords.
