Faye let Skaikru leave through the tunnels to avoid anyone from Ice Nation, but a few refused to leave.
Indra held the door open for Faye as she walked into the chamber of the Flamekeeper. Bellamy and Octavia followed behind.
"Well?" Clarke asked.
"You're not gonna like it." Bellamy warned her.
"When the I destroyed the City of Light, there were a thousand Azgeda warriors inside the city of Polis." Faye explained.
"Good timing." Octavia scoffed.
"Only way to remove them now is by force. They barely listened to the former Commander, no doubt there will be some rebellion." Faye continued.
"Then let's remove them." Octavia suggested.
"Slow down." Abby said. "You're talking about a war."
"Yes. Rockline, Flokru, and Broadleaf will join Trikru without question. But we'll still be short." Indra informed the doctor.
"This is madness. We should be leaving with the others while we still have time." Abby said, looking at Kane who disagreed.
"They know where we live. If we run, they'll follow. There are 8 other clans. How do we get them to join us?" Kane asked, looking at Indra.
"We can't, but she can." Indra looked at Faye.
"Azgeda will not accept a leader who is not of Ice Nation. The others will listen."
"No." Clarke said. "We don't know that." She shook her head.
"Clarke, the clans will follow whoever has the Flame." Bellamy reminded her.
"Azgeda won't."
"Then we fight." Octavia suggested. "That's the point."
"No, it's not." Clarke disagreed firmly. "The point is, there's no time for a fight. We have to save Roan."
"Save him? They won't let us near him."
"If we save him, Ice Nation will listen to him. He's a friend, and when we save him, he'll owe us." Clarke explained.
"Wait." Abby said. "What don't we know?" She asked, picking up on Clarke's urgency.
"The reason Alie created the City of Light." Clarke said.
"Why?"
She looked at Faye and Bellamy for their agreement and then let Faye explain what she had seen.
"Nuclear reactors inside power plants that survived the bombs are melting down. Radiation levels are already rising. If we can't figure out a way to fix it, all of us will be dead in 6 months."
"Alie told you this?" Kane asked.
"Yes." Faye nodded. Noticing all their different faces, she felt their shock.
"And you believe her?" Abby asked with disbelief.
Faye was slightly offended by her tone, but remained calm.
"Raven's looking into it." Bellamy told them.
"I believe her." Faye said, not caring how the Sky People might see her to be naive.
"Even if it's true, that's 6 months away. There are a thousand Ice Nation warriors on the street who want to kill us today." Indra said.
"They won't kill us." Clarke said surely.
"How could you possibly know that?" Octavia questioned.
"Because we're gonna surrender."

Clarke watched how Faye looked exactly like Lexa when she wore the armor of the Commander.
Faye led the remaining Skaikru through the city until they reached the building Ice Nation was in.
Echo was holding Jaha tightly and threw him on the ground. Kane went to help his friend.
When night fell, Skaikru was discussing what they were going to do after hearing that Echo would only talk to Bellamy.
Faye stopped him just as he left the others.
"Don't trust anything she says." Faye whispered to him. Bellamy felt a cold metal on his hand and realized she was giving him a knife. "I have archers hidden."
"They won't be needed. I just need to keep her talking and give Abby and Clarke time." He said but took the knife anyways.
They seemed to be talking forever. Echo went to leave and Bellamy grabbed her arm, but she knocked him over and held a knife to his throat. Her guards rushed to protect her.
"Guns on the ground, or he dies."
Echo liked the satisfaction of winning until she was thrown off Bellamy and was hurrying to avoid Faye's swords.
"Drop the knife!" Faye ordered. "Drop it!" She yelled again. Echo's warriors all backed away and dropped their weapons, even if the Commander wasn't talking to them.
Echo threw her knife on the ground, storming away with her men following.
"Thanks for keeping me alive." Bellamy said.
"You don't make it easy." Faye said.
"They were trying to kill the king!" They heard Echo yell. "Check him!" They heard from the building where Roan was.
Faye stormed in with Indra and Bellamy behind her. Echo was quick to pull out her sword, holding it to Bellamy's throat and Faye pulled out her knife, doing the same to Echo.
"No. We were trying to save him." Clarke told her.
Echo lowered her sword, walking towards Clarke. "For my queen!" She yelled, raising her sword.
"Wait!" They all looked to see King Roan sitting up. He coughed as he held his hand over the wound.
"My king." Echo bowed her head.
"Roan, help us." Clarke begged while Octavia and her mom were still in shock. "Tell them we're friends."
Roan coughed, trying to stand.
"You shouldn't try to stand so soon." Abby warned but was quickly shut up by a warrior of Ice Nation.
"Where is Ontari?" He asked.
"Dead, sire. Killed by them." Echo said.
"We couldn't save her, but we did what we came here to do. Now I need you to honor your promise to protect my people." Clarke said.
"Yeah. That was before your people shot me and killed my Commander."
"We just saved your damn life." Octavia reminded him.
"Roan, your people are hungry for you to lead them. Do so now as your mother would have. Kill Worheda. Take her power and rule over everything."
Roan looked up at Faye, the new commander.
