"How did you lose 400 people in that bunker?" Faye questioned with her arms crossed.
"I didn't lose them. It was their own choice." Octavia said. She still wore red war paint on her face, resembling a real Commander.
"I told you to protect my people." Faye said.
"I did the best I could. 5 years is a long time. Not all of us had the luxury of being one of the last two people on Earth." Octavia said. "I brought order back to the clans. Wonkru follows me without question."
"Fighting in a pit is not justice and it sure as hell isn't order." Faye said. She was about to turn and leave, but Octavia spoke one more time.
"Haven't you lived your entire life behind jus drein jus daun?"
Before Faye could even speak, a knock came from the door of the building. Bellamy walked in and looked at the two. "Can I talk to Faye?" He asked.
A loud crash was heard from the center of the city and they all ran to see what it was.
"What was that?" Octavia asked.
"I know that sound."
They ran to what used to be a huge fountain in the middle of Polis.
"Hey, what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy asked. "One call from me--" Bellamy warned the prisoners.
"Make your call." Diyoza said, not seeming at all worried about Bellamy's former threat.
"Raven, come on. Read me?" Bellamy grabbed his radio. It was silent.
"The deal's off, but nobody has to get hurt." Diyoza said.
"Someone's coming." A man yelled.
All of Diyoza's men aimed at Clarke, who came running into the city. "Hold your fire. Where's your mother?" She asked Clarke.
"She's our doctor. You can't have her." Octavia said, stepping forward.
"She asked you a question." McCreary said. "Where is the doctor?"
"That's right." Another man added from the side. "You're not so tough now, are you?"
"No! Hold." Octavia said to all the warriors that were threatened by the man's words.
"I'm right here." Abby said. "Don't shoot." Following behind the doctor was Kane. "We'll come without a fight."
"I bet you will, traitor." Octavia said to Kane as he passed.
"We?" Diyoza repeated a specific word.
"The two of us. Those are my terms." Abby said.
"I see where your daughter gets it from. Take them both." Diyoza ordered.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Clarke asked her mother.
"I love you, Clarke." Abby said as she started to be dragged away.
"Let's go. Move."
"Okay, then. Here are my terms." Diyoza announced. "The valley is ours. Any attempt to get there will be met by overwhelming force. As long as you stay here, we won't have a problem. Is that a problem?" Diyoza asked Octavia.
"What about Raven and Murphy?" Bellamy asked.
"For now, insurance. Let's go. On me."
One man stayed, still aiming his canon.
"Szybunka, that's an order." Diyoza warned him.
He pulled away and began to leave, but turned and aimed at Octavia and Faye. A man from Wonkru jumped in front of them, taking the majority of the blast.
Faye and Octavia were thrown back as the man's body exploded and his remains went everywhere.
"Szybunka, you idiot!" Diyoza yelled. "Get to the ship. Move! Now! Prep for emergency evac."
Faye's ears rang and everything blurred around her. As the high pitched noises began to settle, she could make out a few voices.
Bellamy was next to her. Indra was checking on Octavia.
"Faye, can you hear me? I got you." Faye heard his voice.
Bellamy helped Faye stand as she checked the blood running from her nose.
"I trusted you. This is your fault." Octavia said, leaning on Indra to stand.
"Bloodreina..." Miller said. "What do we do now?" He asked.
"Now we go to war."
