"Got it started without us." Jasper said, walking into the hangar.

"Got what started?" Bellamy asked.

There was loud and heavy music playing as Jasper led them through the hangar.

"Fun." Bellamy and Faye stopped.

"Come on. Everyone's gonna die. We can go out like them..." Jasper gestured to everyone sitting and talking. "Or like us. The ending's the same, but who says the journey has to suck? I come bearing fruit!" Jasper took out the bag of nuts and offered it to the people who were partying.

"Hey." Faye said to Bellamy. "Wanna dance?"

"I don't dance." Bellamy shook his head.

Faye grabbed his hand. "Come on." She begged. He let her pull him towards the crowd of people dancing.

"Yes!" Jasper cheered. "Good idea. Let someone else save the world for once." Jasper handed them both drinks.

"Yeah." Bellamy said.

Faye let the bitter liquid sting her throat as it went down.

Faye woke to a pounding head and bright lights. It was the first night she hadn't been summoned by the commanders.

She saw Bellamy sitting at the desk chair with his head leaning on the desk as he rested. Faye was happy he was finally getting sleep.

She did her best not to wake Bellamy as she got her things, but she soon heard the chair move.

"Ah, I thought for sure I wouldn't wake you."

"You didn't." Bellamy stood up. "We should go to the hangar. Jaha and Kane got back from Polis a few hours ago."

Faye froze. "They went to Polis?"

"Yeah." Bellamy looked up at her. "Jaha thought there was this secret bunker." Bellamy scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief.

Faye grabbed her jacket and swords and ran out of the room.

She found Kane and Jaha leaving a crowd in the hangar and ran after them.

"Kane." Faye stopped him. "Bellamy said you went to Polis. What's happening? Is Indra..."

"Indra's fine." Kane assured her. "We took the temple and found a way to save all our people. Trikru and Skaikru."

"How?" Faye asked.

"The crypt of the first commander, it's a bunker that can save us. I suggest packing your things, Commander." Kane said.

Faye didn't have anything but her clothes and her swords, everything else was in Polis.

"Where are you going?" Bellamy asked when he saw Faye.

"I'm going ahead to Polis. I'll make sure your people don't walk into a bloodbath." She told him.

Bellamy hesitated, but knew she would leave anyway. "Just...be careful." He told her, pulling her close.

"I'll see you in less than a day." Faye chuckled as she left him.

It was a long ride in the rain. When Faye got to the city, she made her way to the tower.

"What is this?" She demanded when she saw all the leaders of the clans joined at the hands.

"We've issued a concalve. One champion per clan. The winner gets the bunker." Indra explained, leaving the tower.

Faye looked at Gaia. "You can stop this." She reminded Faye. "You're the commander."

Faye stood in front of the throne and everyone watched her. "We will share-"

The doors opened and Luna walked in. "I am Luna kom Floukru, Faye is not the last Natblida." She declared. "I challenge your commander in soulou gonplei."

Gaia and Clarke looked at Faye. She wouldn't reject her challenge in front of everyone.

"I accept your challenge." Faye said, keeping her head high.

"What are you doing?" Clarke demanded as her and Bellamy followed her back to her chambers where Gaia was waiting.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that?" Faye muttered. She threw open the doors.

"I assume you'll be fighting her yourself." Gaia turned when she heard the three enter.

"Like hell she is." Bellamy said.

"I am. I'm the only one who stands a chance against Luna. We were trained for combat." Faye sighed as her stomach twisted.

"No--"

"I have to do this on my own, and you have to let me." Faye said.

"I won't just sit there and watch you die." Bellamy said.

"You have to." Faye watched him run his hands through his hair in frustration.

"Tell her she's being stupid." Bellamy looked at Clarke for help.

Clarke looked at Faye. She was so much like Lexa, but she would be facing another Nightblood. "You're being stupid." Clarke shrugged very slightly.

"Whether she is or not, what's done is done. She has to fight now or she'll appear weak." Gaia said, taking Faye's side.

Bellamy stormed out of the room. "I'll get him. We'll be there." Clarke assured her.

"I don't understand why she's doing this?" Faye questioned Gaia. "Luna has no clan to take into the bunker. She'd be ending the human race." Faye said with a puzzled look on her face.

"Perhaps that is her intention." Gaia said. "I have to go prepare for the fight. You must do the same."

Told you I'd rewrite it. I think I like it better this way.
