"You doing okay, Faye?" Levitt asked.

Faye nodded but did not  look at him.

"I need you to think back to this image." He held up her sketchbook, turned to the picture of Callie Cadogan.

"Is the system malfunctioning?" Cadogan asked while the screen in the room glitched.

"No, sir. Just give me a moment. Faye, I need you to be very still now. I'm going deeper. Just focus on the drawing. What else do you remember about her?"

Cadogan stepped up to them as Faye thought. "Nothing. I-I don't know." Faye admitted truthfully.

"Sir, it's strange. This particular memory is not registering in any of the areas that memories are usually stored." Levitt informed Cadogan.

"She drew things that she couldn't have seen. Those memories are in her mind somewhere."

"Sir, I would have to search much deeper than just the cortex. It's extremely dangerous, and I've never done that before." Levitt admired.

"They tell me you're the best. I trust you." Cadogan said. "For all mankind."

Levitt continued down the wormhole of Faye's mind, searching in every memory she could have that did not belong to her.

"Let's just say he believes he can walk in water." Callie told Becca.

"And you don't?" Becca asked.

"I believe in you." Callie told Becca.

"No." Cadogan watched as the memory faded out. "No. Bring it back. Bring it back!" He demanded.

"I'm trying. It's just a fragment. I had to activate the extra-synaptic gaba receptors just to gain access. It's an entirely different pathway from normal memories."

"No excuses." Cadogan told him. "I want to see my daughter again.

"If I push deeper, I may be able to find more of Becca's memories, but it's risky." Levitt said, watching Faye's fists grow tight.

"Then be careful. We need her memories intact." He placed a hand on Faye's shoulder, looking down at her. "Are you all right, Faye? I know. You're tired, but you're doing so well."

"Go float yourself." Faye spat as Levitt went deeper.

"Allie will get the Flame either way."

Images flashed by of people Faye didn't recognize and Becca's voice rang in her ears.

"No!" Faye cried out. She began fighting against the restraints.

"What's wrong?" Levitt asked, under the impression he did something to hurt her, making a mistake.

"I saw everything. Becca went to the other side. She said he's not ready. I'm done helping you." Faye said.

"Becca and I had a disagreement a long time ago." Cadogan said simply. "You're only seeing her side of the story, she may have been right back then, but I've spent centuries preparing us, improving us. Now is our time."

"Let's start again."

"I said no!" Faye said. Faye began to fight. She pressed her head against the needles that surrounded her and pulled her arms until her wrists began to bleed.

"Faye, stop it. You're hurting yourself." Levitt tried to calm her down.

"I'd rather die." Faye kept fighting.

"Guards!"

"You're hurting yourself!"

"Restrain her!" Cadogan told the guards. "We can't let her harm herself." The guards pushed Levitt aside as they began to hold her down.

Levitt was excused and someone else was brought in.

"Faye, stop this. Are you trying to kill yourself?" Cadogan questioned. "For the good of the many, I have no choice but to continue."

"For the good have many, I would gladly kill myself." Faye told him.

Faye kept fighting until the pain she kept feeling began to go numb.

Cadogan pressed forward with the new operator and they reached so deep, when they finished, Faye could no longer move. She couldn't feel.

Everything became blurred white lights. When Cadogan and his men left, Faye couldn't move. She tried even wiggling her toes, but she was only left the with the thought of the action.

"Faye." Clarke tan towards her. "Hey." Clarke began to unbuckle her restraints. "Faye? Faye? Faye, I'm here. Faye?" Clarke grabbed her face, trying to get her to look at them. "Fa... Somethings wrong. She's breathing why isn't she responding?"

Levitt put on the glasses and looked at what had been done.

"I'm here." Clarke cried as she held Faye's face.

"I'm accessing the history now."

Clarke held onto Faye and pulled her close like a child. "It's okay." Clarke assured her. "Faye! Faye, look at me. Hey. Hi. Say—Say something. Please say something. Say something!"

Clarke pushed her hair back, to see her face in case she woke.

"My Faye. My..."

"Clarke, she can hear you." Octavia said. "She knows you're here.

"Is it recoverable?" Clarke asked Levitt.

"What? I—No. The areas of her brain responsible for voluntary movement have been destroyed. I'm sorry." He informed her.

They watched as Clarke dropped her head into Faye's shoulder.

Octavia watched Clarke catch sight of the gun on the floor. "Clarke... no."

Please.

"I'll do it." Octavia took the gun from Clarke. "I'm not letting you live with this." Clarke let go of the gun.

"I love you so much."Knowing Faye could still hear her meant everything, every last word count. "Don't be scared."

I'm not, she wanted to assure them. She wanted them to know she was okay with it, she was ready to die.

"Just listen to my voice, okay?"

"Yu gonplei ste odon."

"No. He got the code." Levitt said, stopping himself but it was too late. "Oh, I'm sorry." He watched Clarke fold into Faye.

No, please, Octavia.

"The test code? Are you sure?" Octavia asked.

"Hologram mode." Levitt showed them the previous events.

"He got what he needed and left her here?" Clarke asked.

"We have to stop him. If one man represents the entire human race..."

"It can't be him."

Levitt left the hologram playing, showing them Faye's memories.

"Ai gonplei ste odon." Faye's voice filled the room. She was left like this, thinking she would die.

"We can still stop him, but we have to go now."

"Octavia." Clarke said. Faye knew she would die, they couldn't leave her like this.

Faye watched Octavia return the gun to her chest. The last thing heard from the room was the gunshot.

Faye wished she could cry, but there was no pain to cry away with tears she couldn't form.

Faye was tired, and she was done running from the one thing that followed her through her entire life. She no longer had to be scared of what she didn't know.

Death met her on the same side this time.
