"Yesterday she told me her favorite flowers were Calla lilies." Jordan said.

"Calla lilies are nice." Murphy nodded. He looked at Bellamy and they both started laughing.

"I'm serious. Something happened in that reliquary. It's like she doesn't even know me." Jordan insisted.

"Just play it cool. She'll come around." Bellamy said.

"Yeah, that and, like, maybe don't get flowers for a one-night stand." Murphy added.

"Don't listen to them." Faye said, walking over to their table. "They'll tell you all love has to start with attempted murder." She said.

"Well..." Murphy and Bellamy looked at each other, nodding in agreement. "It kinda does."

"Yeah."

"Whatever." Faye's eyes narrowed as she shook her head.

They all saw Clarke, who had been out all night.

"Clarke." Madi ran up to hug her.

"Oh! Madi." Clarke said in surprise. "Good morning."

"Can I please go to school today?" Madi asked.

"I don't see why not." Clarke shrugged.

Faye and Gaia looked at each other and quickly got up.

"Clarke! We talked about this." Faye said when Madi was gone.

Clarke saw Faye watching the guard at the door and looked back at them. "Oh, apparently, people with blood like mine are a target. The Primes insisted."

Again, Faye and Gaia shared a look. Why hadn't Faye gotten one. "Which is why Madi needs to continue her training with me. What if she skins her knee? Or, I don't know, gets a paper cut?"

"Uh..." Clarke hesitated.

"Everything okay?" Bellamy asked, walking over to them.

"Yeah. Fine." Clarke smiled. "Where are the others?"

"One of the Primes is showing Raven and Emori how to build a radiation shield." Bellamy said.

"Ryker?" Clarke asked.

"Yeah. I sent Echo and Miller to watch their backs." Bellamy said.

"And my mother?"

"Still in the library." Faye told her. "Jackson said he found her sleeping with her head on a book."

"Speaking of books. Let's get you to school."

"Clarke." Faye grabbed her shoulder.

"Chill out." Clarke pushed her hand away. "She'll be fine."

Faye's mouth hung open as she looked at Bellamy and Gaia. "Chill out?" She repeated in disbelief.

"What?" Clarke shrugged, looking back at her after Gaia sat down and Bellamy gave the two space after seeing Faye's reaction.

"Huh. Nothing. Though, I take it you and the doctor had a good night." Faye said, realizing Clarke looked happy for once.

"Cillian? Yeah. Let's just say it'll be a while until he recovers."

"Okay, too much." Faye waved Clarke on. She met Gaia's eyes. Faye nodded, knowing they both thought the same thing.

"Guys..." Bellamy saw them. "Hey, slow down. Madi will be fine."

"Fine?" Faye questioned. "They gave Clarke a bodyguard for being a Nightblood. And she just sends Madi to school?"

"Can I get you guys anything else?" Blythe Ann, Delilah's mother, asked.
