Faye watched Clarke as she stood over the radio. She quickly turned it off.
"Octavia would have killed us." Clarke told her.
"Clarke, they're getting slaughtered." Faye said.
"We made our choice." Clarke said.
"You made your choice." When Clarke turned away to help Abby, Faye stroked Madi's hair softly.
She slept peacefully with Clarke's jacket draped over her. Faye searched the first pocket for the keys. She checked a second pocket and found them.
"I love you." She whispered to Madi while she slept.
Faye opened the window slowly and quietly. Going feet-first she escaped the gas station.
Faye ran to the cave as fast as she could and got in the rover. She put the key in and tried to start it. It made a loud buzzing noise, but it didn't start. She tried so many times.
"It won't start." Clarke said, holding up the conductor. "I took out the conductor. Now let's go."
Faye opened her door. "Fine. I'll walk, then." She said. When she got out, Clarke stood in her way of the exit. "Get out of my way." Faye demanded.
"No." Clarke grabbed a hold of her, stopping her from going any further.
"Uh! Let go of me." Faye ordered.
"Faye, ascende superius."
Faye pulled away quickly. Clarke realized what she had done when she saw the look in Faye's eyes. But then she saw that the Flame wasn't coming out.
"You might have taken out the conductor. Did you really think after Bellamy and Gaia tried to take it out, I wouldn't have changed the pass phrase?" Faye demanded, looking hurt that Clarke would even try that. "I'm the Commander, and my people are dying."
Clarke sighed and nodded. She opened her arms and let Faye in for a small hug. "I'm sorry."
Faye pulled away, confused.
"I will not let you die in this war." Clarke said.
Faye began to charge her, going in for an attack when Clarke turned on the collar and pressed the button on the remote.
"Aah!" Faye screamed as the pain around her neck spread to her body. She fell to her knees, gasping as Clarke tried to look away.
When Faye opened her eyes again, everything was blurry. "Clarke?" She tried to speak but it all came out as a weak groan.
A hand was firmly placed against her mouth and a familiar voice spoke. "You are the true Commander."
"Mm. Mm-hmm." Faye's voice was muffled.
"Now get ready to prove it." Echo said.
Faye turned her head sharply to see Echo standing over her.
"Echo, what the hell?" Faye snapped, her voice still raspy.
"We need your help." Raven said.
"You think Wonkru will follow me into that gorge." Faye said. "What are you waiting for? Take off the collar before Clarke gets back."
"Safe to say, she's not up for mother of the year." Echo said, she looked across the church at Madi who was fast asleep.
"Light." Raven requested. The pilot stood up and shown a light on them.
"Careful." Faye said to the pilot. "I'd like my head not to explode." She said spitefully.
"Wouldn't we all." Raven chuckled. "Relax, he's on our side."
