"Faye." Gaia walked into the throne room with her head hung. "The Skaikru men are gone. I went to get them and found this pendant of Ice Nation. What do we do?" She asked.

"Get me an army." Faye demanded, already getting her swords and heading down the tower.

"There's not enough time." Gaia told her.

"Then I'm going alone. I have a feeling Octavia has not yet made it to Arkadia and Clarke has to be warned." Faye pulled herself onto her horse and quickly ran through the city.

When Faye got to Arkadia, Miller opened the gates fir her and she ran to the hangar where she saw a familiar face carrying Octavia.

Inside the hangar, Clarke was trying to save Octavia. Faye got off her horse and stood next to the boy from Trishanakru.

"Okay. Get her to medical now." Clarke ordered. "Getting her here saved her life. Thank you." Clarke noticed Faye and was about to talk to her but noticed Octavia waking.

"Clarke, we need to talk." Faye tried to step forward but Clarke held up her hand.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, shh, it's okay. You're okay. Octavia, you've lost a lot of blood, but you're home now. I'm gonna help you."

"Clarke, Azgeda's coming." Faye blurted out.

Clarke looked up at her and then back at Octavia. "Echo." Octavia said very faintly.

"What's she talking about?" Monty asked.

"Azgeda is coming. Army...marching." Octavia said in a low voice.

"Hey, hey. Stay with me." Clarke said.

"War is here."

"Take her. Go." Clarke let the doctors take over.

"Clarke, that's what I was trying to tell you." Faye said. She let Clarke get everyone ready while Faye simply followed Clarke.

"Okay. We station gunners along the wall. That way, we can thin their numbers before they get a chance to close the distance." Miller's dad explained to everyone.

"And when they get close?" Harper asked.

"Hydrazine." He told her. "We buried what was left in the engines when we landed. It's being dug up right now. We're gonna pour it into the trenches."

Faye and Harper noticed Clarke walk in.

"Hey, how is she?" Harper asked.

"Strong." Clarke told her and sent an assuring nod to Faye.

"Listen, all we have to do is spread it in front of the outer wall. Then when the army gets close--"

"We light them up." A kid finished.

"That's right." Miller's dad confirmed.

"You want to light a fire outside the ship we just spent the last month getting ready?" Monty asked.

"That's not happening?" Everyone turned to Clarke. "Any word from Kane?" She asked, walking to the center of the room.

"No, but Jaha found the cargo truck 12 hours out, no sign of Bellamy or Stephens."

"Stephens is dead. Bellamy and Kane are prisoners of Azgeda." Faye told them.

"I have to speak to Roan." Clarke said. "Something happened, some sort of misunderstanding."

"We're standing in that misunderstanding. He wants to take your ship to save his own people because you told him you didn't have a plan." Faye explained.

Clarke hung her head. "There's only one way to get here from Polis with such a big number. I'll ride out and meet him." Clarke suggested.

"Are you--" Miller's dad stopped himself. "No, absolutely not."

"Actually, that might work." Monty said.

"Monty, what are you talking about?" Harper asked.

"The Ice Nation thinks they have the element of surprise, but, thanks to Faye and Octavia, we do. Pike showed us how valuable that can be." Monty explained.

"You're citing Pike?" Harper asked.

"As awful as that sounds, yes."

They were all dismissed and began setting their trap.

"Clarke." Faye ran after her. "If you're going out there, I'm coming too." She said.

"No. I have to talk to Roan--"

"I'm going, Clarke." Faye stopped her. "They have Bellamy. And I'm not letting you go out there alone."

They stood behind a rock, watching the army approach. Roan halted his men and began to talk to Echo, but they couldn't hear what the two were saying.

"We need to talk." Clarke said.

"Little late for that." Roan said. "Archers! Target Wanheda and the Commander!"

Clarke and Faye weren't fazed when they saw the green dots covering Roan's chest. Dozens of Skaikru soldiers were aiming for the king.

Two men walked forward, dragging along two hooded prisoners. The guards pushed them to their knees and removed the hoods.

Clarke watched Faye holding the hilt of her sword, but she didn't remove it. "10 minutes. That's all I ask." Clarke told Roan.

Roan got off his horse and Clarke began to walk back up the mountain.

Roan walked by and Faye's eyes followed him until she could no longer see him.

It was a long while of waiting before Monty soon came into the canyon, hands up and walking along the rocks.

"Monty, what the hell are you doing?" Faye asked when she saw all the warriors aim their weapons at him.

"Hey, stop. I'm unarmed. I need to talk to whoever's in charge." An Ice Nation warrior dragged Monty to kneel before Echo.

"Damn it, Monty." Faye stood ready with her swords. "What is happening?" Faye walked up to Echo as she saw her getting men.

"I don't have to answer to you!" Echo pulled out her sword.

"Wait!" Kane yelled. "If our snipers see archers on the move, they'll open fire. Tell her." Kane said.

"Those are our orders." Monty confirmed.

"I will not allow my king to be assassinated." Echo said, she began to walk but Faye would not move out of her way.

"He doesn't have to be." Bellamy spoke up. "I know Riley. Let me come with you. I can stop him."

"Do you think me a fool, Bellamy?" Echo demanded.

"You'd be a dead fool if you step out of this kill box without me. Use Monty's radio and let Kane tell them we're working together to find Riley, and they'll let us pass."

One of Echo's guards tossed her the radio, she gave it to Kane.

"This is Chancellor Kane."

"Sir, are you all right?" A man asked on the radio.

"Listen to me. Bellamy's working with one of them to find Riley. You let them through, understood?" Kane ordered.

"Copy that."

Echo took the radio and placed it on her belt.

"Take off the chains." Echo told a warrior. She turned to face Faye. "I assume you'll be going too." She raised a suspicious brow.
