After we all good bye to Abraham's group. I sat down outside. I kept thinking where Daryl and Carol could be.
I than heard something moving in the bunches. I grabbed my bow and walked towards the noise. I got my arrow ready to release it. I saw that somebody was coming out of the bunches.
My body froze when I saw who it was.
it was Daryl.
I imminently dropped my bow and hugged him tight. I felt his strong arms wrap around my torso.
I released him from my embrace and smacked him on his chest.
Maybe the next time you go disappearing you let be know before you go. I said
I'm sorry, Peyton. I know I should've told you. Daryl said.
I just, I mean I just got you back, and the next thing I know you and Carol went off somewhere. I didn't know if you where alive or dead. I said.
Daryl that brought me in an embrace.
I know, and I'm sorry. I promise you I won't disappear like that again. Daryl said as he kissed my forehead.
Daryl than let go of me and turned around. You can come out now. Daryl said as a kid that looked about Beth's age came out of the bunches.
The kid told us that his name was Noah. And that Beth's alive. We found out that Carol got injured and people from where Beth was being kept took her.
Rick decided that we would go and get Carol and Beth form the hospital.
As we were all getting ready I saw Thomas getting his gun ready.
I went up to check on him.
Don't say I am not coming Payton. I'm going Beth is my friend. And this whole time I did not know if she was alive or dead. Now that I know I can't just sit here and hope that you guys will come back. I am going. Thomas said.
And I have not reason to stop you. I just came over here to tell you to make sure you have enough ammo. I said as Thomas nodded.
Half of us left the Church as the other half stayed behind and watched after Judith.
As we were on the way to the hospital Rick and I were figuring out a plan to get back Beth and Carol.
We stopped at this abended factory. We all gathered around and talked about what we were going to to.
At sundown we fire a shot into the air. Get two of them out of patrol. Then once it's dark enough that the rooftop spotter won't see us, we go. We cut the locks on the one of the stairways, take it to the fifth floor. I open the door, Daryl takes the guard out. Rick said.
How? Tyreese asked.
He slits his throat. This is all about us doing this quite, keeping the upper hand. They're not expecting us. From their, we fan out. Knives and sliced weapons. We need to be fast. Tyreese, Sasha, and Thomas take them. Daryl and Payton, you guys take care of whoever is in the kitchen. I got Dawn. If they're smart, the rest of them will give up. Then it'll be five or three. Six on three once we get a weapon to Beth. Rick said.
12 on three. the wards will help. Noah said.
That's best case. What's worst case? All it takes is one of those cops going down the hall at the wrong time. Then it's not quite. All hands on deck. We're talking about a lot of bullets flying around. Tyreese said.
If that's what it takes. Sasha said.
It's not. If we get a couple of her cops alive out here, we do an even trade. Theirs for ours. Everybody goes home. Tyreese said.
Yeah, I get it. And it might work. This will work. Rick said.
Nah, that'll work to. Daryl said.
I'm with Tyreece on this. The trade will work to Rick. I said.
You say this Dawn, she's just trying to keep it together, right? Daryl asked.
Trying and doing are two different things. Noah said.
You take two of her cops away, what choices does she have? Everybody goes home. Like he says. Daryl said.
As we waited outside we saw a cop car come by. Noah went out as bait.
When the two cops took the bait we got are weapons and went up behind them.
Rick whistled to get their attention.
Hands. Rick said to the two cops.
What do you want? The women asked.
Whatever this is, we can help. The man said.
You do what we say, we won't hurt you. Rick said as the two cops put their guns down as we took them.
We need to talk. There's water if you need some and food. Rick said.
Mind if I ask you something? The way you talk, the way you carry yourself, were you a cop? Believe it or nit I was to. The man said.
That's Lamson, he'll be down for this. He's one of the good ones. Noah said.
Out of no where, a car came right at us. We all got out of the way and shot at it. The car had more cops on it. It made a great escape plan for one of the cops.
The car than drove away. We followed it. Daryl said that he would check it out.
After a few minuets I went after Daryl and found him being pinned to the ground by a walker.
I ran and tackled the cop to the gowned and punched him. Rick than came and shot a waring shot at the cop.
The cop than got up and put his hands in the air.
You win asshole. The cop said as we took his as are hostages.
We took the cops back to the factory.
Your friend what's his name. I need to talk to him. Your plan is going to get me and my friends killed. The women said.
We'll manage. Thomas said.
It would work of you had different cops to trade. Dawns running Grady into the ground. A bunch of us want her out and she knows it. Pretty sure she knows we want Lamson to replace her, too. The women said.
Dawn doesn't know that. The man said.
She might. And she's smart. So there's a good chance you can't make this deal work and that'll leave us dead. But if you let us go, we'll take care of Dawn are selves and then we'll let your friends go and this is over. The women said.
No, we're not gonna do that. The man said.
Do you want to die? The women asked.
No. I just need you to shut up right now. You can make this work. But you've got to be able to talk to her. The man said.
Noah told us all about her. Sasha said.
I've known her for eight years ma'am. I know this women. And my only interest is peaceful resolution, not dying, and sleeping in my bed tonight. So please let me help you.
