It had been a year, since the war against the saviors. We made a camp for the sanctuary. It was rough at first but we got the saviors to behave.

Payton and Dylan were tasked to keep an eye on the saviors they ran the sanctuary along with Carol.

Dylan, Quinn, and I all stayed at Alexandra. Quinn told me what Cyndie and the ocean side did to help us. After the war I went over their a few times. And it seemed that Rachel finally got it through her bug head that we can't kill everyone.

Ethane, less zoning out and more fishing we have to get these fish. Cyndie said.

Right sorry. I said.

Cyndie taught me how to fish. It was actually pretty easy. Once we got the fish we headed back to base.

I liked coming to oceanside. It was peaceful.

Cyndie and I were cooking fish. While I was waiting for a radio signal from Daryl.

So how's Alexandra? Cyndie asked.

It's good. Dylan has really taken control of securely, and it's actually peaceful. How is being in charge of oceanside? I asked.

It's hard work. Everyone looks to me for answers. And I'm trying to change are ways. No more killing strangers. Cyndie said.

I know. And you have done a great job. I know you're trying your best. I said.

Cyndie then smiled as we went back to cooking the fish.

I then heard Daryl on the radio.

I picked up the radio and answered Daryl.

Ethane you there? Daryl asked.

Yeah here. I said.

We need you to meet us at the musem Rick wants us to make a run. Daryl said.

Okay, got it. I said.

I grabbed my things and was about to head out.

You need a hand? Cyndie said.

Actually yeah. I said as both Cyndie and I got on are horses and headed out.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once we got there I saw Payton, I got off my horse and went to go hug her.

Damn, you grew a beard. Payton said.

Yeah, I know, it looks bad. I said.

I think it looks really good. Cyndie said.

I smiled. the others met up with us and we went inside.

Rick said that Cyndie and I should head upstairs.

When we did we found a canoe.

This is great. This is perfect for fishing in the river back at Alexandra. I said.

As I turned I saw that Cyndie started crying.

You okay? I asked.

I was just thinking about my brother. We were fighting during a canoe ride at the county fair. It's funny you know, how certain things just bring that up random memories like that. Does it happen to you? Cyndie asked me.

I went and hugged her.

Yeah, it happiness to me, the other day I was walking by a river and than I was reminded when my mom used to take me near the river.  But I try to remembers the feeling of the memory. I said as I let go of Cyndie.

Yeah, thanks. Cyndie said.

Anytime. I said as we both carried the canoe and went downstairs with it.

Later on Rick found a wagon. We all tied it and gentle pulled it down the stairs. However that really wasn't the problem, the problem was that underneath us was a glass floor with walkers in it.

Once we got the wagon out of the way. We went to get the extra stuff.

Ezekiel and Carol were the last ones to get the remainder of the wagon but before Ezekiel could get thorough the glass broke and he fell through.

Payton got her bow out and shot all the walkers that were close to biting Ezekiel. Daryl grabbed his hand and pulled him out. Carol than hugged Ezekiel.

We all left the city and headed back to Alexandra.

Hey, um Cyndie I was wondering um of you ever feel like coming to Alexandra to just hang out. Um I would love to show you around. I said.

Yeah, I would love that. Cyndie said.

Daryl and Rosita came and told us that the bridge we took got taken down.

Two other herds merged into Silvia, so now it's even bigger. One of them came through, and the back end took the bridge with it. Rosita said.

What about route A? Is that clear yet? Daryl asked.

It's still to close to the herd. We can get to Alexandra from this side. Michonne said.

No. Route A has taken days to clear out before. I need to get back to Hershel. Maggie said.

We could take route D. It's early enough in the day. Carol said.

Keep an eye in the trade road in case anyone else tries to move through. Gabriel y'all can head back to Alexandria from here. The rest of us we can go to the sanctuary or Hilltop. Stay the night and head out from there. Take care and get home. Rick said.

Cyndie and I headed back to Alexandria. half way there she told me she had to get back to Hilltop but that she would be back. When I got back to Alexandria I was informed that Negan was not eating.

Ethane he asked to see you. Eugene said.

Well tell him that's not happing, he'll eat. I said.
