It was a few days after we heard about Aiden and Noah. Aiden and I didn't talk much but still it hurt hearing that he didn't make it.
I knew Noah was from Thomas's group, and I wanted to check on him, to see how he was doing.
While I was on my way I saw Enid leaving Alexandria again.
Why do you do that? I asked.
You know why. Enid said.
No, I really don't. I mean the first time I saw you do this I thought you weren't coming back, but now you just go and your back after an hour. I said.
I just like to do this okay. Enid said.
alright, I will let you do your thing, but just so you know I think you have an admirer. I said pointing to Carl.
I was walking over to Thomas's house, until I saw him sitting outside.
Hey. I said.
Oh, hey. Thomas said.
I heard about Noah, and I just wanted to come see how you were doing. I said as I sat next to him.
Was that the real reason you wanted to talk to me, it was it because I did not come and return my weapon? Thomas asked.
Well there's that to. I said as we both laughed.
But listen if you don't want to talk about it I understand. I said.
Noah, was an amazing person. He was gonna do good things in this world. But he was also saved my a very, very good friend of mine. She would have loved it here. Thomas said.
Would? I said.
She died not long after Aaron found us. She sacrificed herself for Noah, And now he's gone. And it just now feels like her sacrifice was for nothing. I said as I started getting tears in my eyes.
I'm sorry. I said as I wiped the tears off my face.
No, no it's okay. Thomas it's okay to miss her, what was she like? I asked.
She was kind, honest, she was the kind of person that would not give up on you, no matter how many times you would screw up. Her name was Beth. Thomas said.
I wish I would have met her, She sounds amazing, I said.
She would have loved you. Maybe not the being a know it all, but still. Thomas said.
Hey, me being a know it all makes me even more likable. I said as Thomas laughed.
Alright well I'm glad that your okay. I said as I was about to leave but I felt my Thomas grab my arm.
Can we do this, I mean talk about to each other like this. Thomas asked.
After I talked to Thomas Ron and I met up after words.
What's up with you and hanging out with Thomas Adams? Ron asked.
There's nothing up, I just like talking to the guy, he's easy to talk to, I said.
Alright, well have you seen Enid anywhere? Ron asked.
Um, no. I have not. I said as I noticed a huge bruise on his arm.
Hey what happened to your arm? I asked.
Oh, um I fell down the stairs. Ron said.
Oh, are you okay? I asked.
Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. Ron said.
But I knew Ron was not okay, there was something more going on.
a/n: Hey guys, I know this is a short chapter but I promise the next one will be long, I just really wanted to write a chapter of Mae's pov and how her relationships are in Alexandria. But we are almost to season 6, and I really can't wait to write that season.
