Once we got to Alexandria Michonne came to the gate. Daryl went to go talk to her.
Henry's hurt, you were closest. I wouldn't have come. We had no other choice. Daryl said.
What about her? Michonne asked.
She's with us. Ethane said.
Michonne than opened the gate.
I saw that Quinn made it back to Alexandria, she ran up to Ethane and hugged him.
Daryl wrapped his hand around my shoulder and we went to go clean up.

After we cleaned up I went by the lake that Alexandria and I sat down. Thinking about what I saw, my mother. The mother that left my brothers and I to fend for ourselves. The mother that instead of picking us up from school she was on the couch smoking what ever drug she could get her hands on.
I than felt someone touch my shoulder, I turned and saw it was Connie.
She grabbed her notebook and started writing.
Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Connie wrote.
Connie than handed me a piece of paper.
Yeah, I'm fine. I wrote down.

As soon as Connie read what I wrote she scooted closer to me and brought me into a hug. I hugged her back.

I wrote down thank you. Connie and I sat down together and just watched the lake. It was nice, it reminded me when Maggie and I would talk about how we've been. I missed her, but I know why she had to go.
