Daryl and Thomas Had gotten better after what happened at the hospital. Thomas started opining up to me about how he felt. I knew it was hard. Dylan and him made up, which was good.
Maggie and Sasha went out for a little while, It didn't take them long for them to get back.
Hey, everyone this is Aaron. Maggie said as a man came behind her. We all got are weapons out and pointed it at him.
We met him outside, he's by himself. We took his weapons and we took his gear. Maggie said.
Hi. It's nice to meet you. Aaron tried to go up to Rick but we stopped him.
You said he had a weapon? Rick asked as Maggie gave it to him.
There something you need? Rick asked.
He has a camp nearby. He wants us to audition for membership. Sasha said.
I wish there was another word. Audition makes it sound like we're some kind of a dance troupe. That's only on Friday nights. Um, and it's not a camp. It's a community. I think you all would make valuable additions. But it's not my call. My job is to convince you all to follow me back home. I know. If I were you, I wouldn't go either. Not until I knew exactly what I was getting into. Sasha can you hand Rick my pack? Aaron asked as Sasha handed Rick Aaron's bag.
Front pocket, there's an envelope. There's no way I could convince you to come with me, just by talking to are community. That's why I brought those. As Aaron was explaining the map in his bag, I could tell that Rick still did not trust this man.
Aaron than went on explaining his community, it sounded like a safe place, but evetime we trust people, they are either crazy or psychotic. But Aaron did not look like that, he actually looked like a decent man.
Rick than punched Aaron to the ground.
Rick! I yelled.
We got to secure him. Dump his pack, let's see what this guy really is. Everybody else we need eyes in every direction. They're coming for us .Rick said.
Rick look, I know we have met terrible people. But this guy, just looks like he actually wants to help. I said.
And what if he's lying, Payton. It could be a trap just like Terminus was. I am not putting this group in anymore danger. Rick said.
And what if he is telling the truth, and their is really a place where we can stay. I said.
We can't take the risk. Rick said.
Me and Sasha, we didn't see him. If he had wanted to attack us, he could've. Maggie said.
Anybody see anything? Rick asked.
Just a lot of places to hide. Glenn said.
All right keep looking. Rick said.
After a little while Aaron woke up.
That's a heck of a right cross their Rick. Aaron said.
Sit him up. Rick said.
I think it's better if we, It's okay. Aaron said while getting up.
He's fine sit him up. Rick said once again as Maggie and Michonne sat Aron up.
Aaron then explained more about his community to us and why we should come with him. Rick than asked Aaron how many people were with him. Aaron said one but Rick did not believe that.
Michonne volunteered to go check if Aaron was telling the truth. I told Rick that I was going to. Along with Glenn, Maggie, Rosita, Daryl, Carl, Abraham, Nathan and everyone else.
If there's trouble, you got enough firepower? Rick asked.
We split up, I was with Michonne, Rosita, Abraham, Glenn, Maggie, and Nathan. While the others went to go check out the other person Aaron was with.
Eyes open everybody. Weapons up. You see someone coming at us, you fire. Glenn said.
Roger that Caption. Nathan said as Rosita and him chuckled.
Nathan, I mean it. Glenn said.
I know you mean it. But like I said, we are really gonna find Aaron a threat. After he came up to us in a non threating way, and if it's true what he is saying, then I'm all for it. Nathan said.
We will have to see if it's true first. I said.
So if we see someone we just shoot them? Michonne asked.
That's a good question. Maggie said.
What if they are someone like us? What if Aaron is really telling the truth? Michonne asked.
We're seven people walking with guns. No one's coming to say hello. Glenn said.
We kept walking until we found the RV that Aaron was talking about. Walkers then came at us, Rosita and Abraham said that they'd take care of them, after they killed the walkers they cleared the RV, we took the food and headed back to the barn.
This, this is ours now. Rick said while holding the food.
There's more than enough. Aaron said.
It's ours whether or not we go to your camp. Rick said.
What do you mean why wouldn't we go? Car asked.
If, he were lying or of he tried to hurt us, be he isn't, we need this. So we're going. all of us. Somebody say something if they feel differently. Michonne said.
Michonne is right, Rick okay. Let's just try it. I said.
This barn smells like horse shit anyway, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks so, just ask Thomas. Daryl said.
I mean, it would be nice to go to bed and not smell shit. Thomas said.
Yeah, we're going. Rick said.
We took separate cars. Thomas and Quinn went with Rick while the rest of us followed behind them.
As we were following behind Rick, we saw that their were walkers on the road. We saw that they ran into them. Abraham told us that we had to turn back.
As we did we bumped into Eric a boy that said that he was with Aaron, we grabbed him and ran into a small town waiting for Rick.
It did not take long for Rick and the others to get back. When Daryl and I saw Thomas we went up to him to make sure that he was okay.
Thomas assured us that he was fine.
After Aaron explained more about his community the next mooring we headed back to the community.
Once we got their we saw that everything that Aaron said was true. As we drove in I felt Daryl take my hand. I squeezed his, I knew that we all needed this place. And that we were going to make it work.
