He rested his back against the tree, a small smile on his face as he thought of the very much improvised date he was going to have with his boyfriend. It was a Friday afternoon, spring was coming and it was already starting to get hot, so (M/n) decided, why not take Hide out. Besides, it's been a while since they had their last date.

His college classes were over for the day, but he still had to wait about an hour or so before Hide's classes were over, and in the meantime, he listened to some music while looking around, observing the sakura trees blooming.

He looked towards the front door of the building a few times, and the third time he looked, Hide was walking out while staring down at his phone, his red headphones hanging around his neck, as usual.

A male walked past him, and he got his attention, (M/n) knew who it was, Kaneki Ken wad Hide's childhood friend, so of course he met him before. And the black-haired male seemed to have noticed him standing against the tree because he signaled in his direction.

Hide looked where Kaneki told him, and a happy smile appeared on his face. Both of them walked towards (M/n) and Hide wrapped his arms around the (h/c) haired male, while Kaneki showed him a smile and a slight nod as he walked away from them. (M/n) nodded back before he left completely and turned to look down at the male hugging his waist and cutting his air passage.

"H-hide... baby, I-I can't br-breath-," (M/n) moved his arms up and tried to push Hide away by holding his shoulders, but he was getting weaker the longer his lungs lost air, but the smaller male seemed to snap back and let him go, a cute blush of embarrassment covering his face while he scratched the back of his head. (M/n) coughed a bit but a big smile showed on his face, and he held Hide's face, leaning down and kissing him softly.

Hideyoshi's reaction made (M/n) chuckle, seeing the male trying to cover his face, panicking about being in public, but the (h/c) haired male just held his hand and started to walk away from the university.

They were silently walking, their hands intertwined inside (M/n)'s hoodie's pocket, until Hideyoshi looked up at him.

"You know, I was going to text you if you wanted to come to my place and stay the night, but... you were there, why?" (M/n) looked at him, his amber eyes shining as he looked up at him. The taller male felt his heart flutter and a blush rush up to his face. He cleared his throat and leaned down to kiss his forehead, whilst his hold on Hide's hand tightened.

"Because I wanted to take you on a date, it's been a while since we had one, hasn't it?" Their eye contact made Hide's body get covered in goosebumps and he hid his face against (M/n)'s arm.

They walked around, talking about whatever came to their minds, having a fun time being next to each other, when Hideyoshi decided he wanted a milkshake. (M/n) laughed all the while he was being dragged into the store, and they waited in line together. It didn't take long for them to have their drinks, and they walked out as soon as (M/n) paid for them.

This time, (M/n) dragged Hide into a park nearby, and they talked, joking playfully with one another. They sat on a bench and enjoyed the warmth of the sun mixing with the chill breeze, Hideyoshi stared at (M/n)'s (flavor) milkshake with expecting eyes, impatiently waiting to drink some of it. So he thought of something to distract his boyfriend for a moment.

"Hey, (M/n), look a (favorite anime character) cosplayer," the male instantly looked around, with wide, happy eyes, observing his surrounding in search of that person. But there wasn't anyone.

And the moment he looked back at Hide he saw him drinking from his cup, a happy blush on his face.

(M/n) felt slightly offended at the joke, but laughed as he saw his boyfriend's expression while drinking his milkshake.

When Hide stopped drinking, he showed a bright smile to (M/n), who just blushed and looked away, drinking the rest of what Hide left. Which wasn't a lot. That was when a different cup was placed in front of him.

His eyes followed the hand holding it, and it led him to Hideyoshi's guilty expression, "I'm sorry for... drinking it all, you can have mine..." he mumbled while looking away. And (M/n) didn't even think about the shake, his free hand held Hide's chin and he kissed him, tasting a mix of both their milkshakes.

And it was way tastier than the drinks themselves.

They were enjoying their kiss, when a soft bark startled Hide, making him push (M/n) away with a red face.

The (h/c) haired male chuckled and looked down. Next to his legs was a small black puppy, staring at them with her tongue out and wagging her tail, barking every now and then to get their attention. The puppy stood on her back legs, and held herself on (M/n)'s knees, nudging the hand holding the cup gently, asking for pets.

(M/n) pet the puppy for a bit, until her small paws took her to Hide, and she rolled onto her back, kicking the air with her back legs. They laughed at the cuteness of the dog and played with her for a while, they saw the collar on her, so they stayed with her while they waited for her owner.

Soon, a young lady came by, panting for air with a leash on her hand. She apologized to them, but they assured her that they and a fun time with the puppy, so it was okay.

When the lady was gone with her dog, Hide and (M/n) stayed there, finishing their milkshakes before standing up and throwing the empty cups away.

(M/n) held Hideyoshi's hand again and walked him home, as it was already getting late. How did the time go by so fast? They didn't know, but it did.

Already outside of Hideyoshi's house, (M/n) was about to turn around and leave, but Hide held onto the sleeve of his hoodie, making him turn around. (M/n) saw Hide blush and knew what he wanted to ask, but he decided to play dumb and make him say it.

"What's wrong?" He whispered softly, trying to encourage him, and it seemed like it might've worked, because Hideyoshi looked up at him and dragged him closer to him, standing in front of each other, their bodies pressed together.

"Y-you wanna... spend here the night?" (M/n) smiled and kissed his forehead, holding his waist gently, nodding in silence.

Hideyoshi blushed darker and turned around to open his front door, they walked in together, took off their shoes, and placed their bags next to the coffee table. (M/n) saw Hide walking towards the bathroom on his own, so he stopped him by hugging him from the back. The smaller male yelped and stuttered out nervously.

"(M-m/n)... wh-what-?"

"Let's shower together, Hide."

Despite Hide feeling incredibly embarrassed the entire time, their shower went by really cute and wholesome, something that somehow made him feel even more embarrassed. (M/n) got dressed in some clothes that he kept at Hide's place and they made dinner together, eating between laughs and kisses.

After that, they went to Hide's room to watch a movie, because Hide said so. They laid down and the blond snuggled against (M/n)'s chest, yawning every five seconds and whining cutely. In the end, Hideyoshi fell asleep on top of him, their legs tangled and his arms around his neck, while (M/n) held him by his hips. He turned off the tv as soon as Hide fell asleep, he kissed his hair and wrapped his around him tighter, closing his eyes and falling asleep too.
