Angst Prompt; ' I shouldn't care for your life, but I'm starting to and it's becoming an inconvenience,' 'I hate seeing you so sad, it's just so dramatic how humans show emotions and being sad is such a boring one ' & ' Please, ruin yourself for me and I'll watch in adoration as I fall apart as well .'

(M/n) has been this way for a long, long time now. Maybe not over a hundred or even fifty years, but he just knows it's been longer than a day. His memories get a little foggy over time, but there is something in the back of his head that prevents him from being hostile and murderous.

He now deep down, that his senpais are the reason why he's good like this, why he hasn't killed anyone is because of his senpais, but in the way he is right now, he's not sure of much.

However, he's sure that his meeting with Fushiguro Megumi had a meaning. Maybe even a reason.

(M/n) does not remember much of his life as a human, with each day, his memories as one start to get blurry until they just vanish in the thick cloud of uncertainty, about whether they existed and were real or... if he just made it up. His senpai, Gojo, usually talks to him, telling him stories of when he was a freshman under him and Nanami, but he can only imagine what everything might've been back then since he can not remember it.

Living as a human curse, (M/n) only remembers what came after his death, and that includes Megumi.

Wandering around the Jujutsu Academy, he stood in place when something he saw triggered a core memory, making him freeze for quite a while, when he came back in himself, the night sky had already cleared, and the sun was currently rising on the horizon, its ray of light warming his face and clothed body.

And then, he heard the soft patter of someone's steps approaching behind him before abruptly stopping, gasping in surprise. Turning his head shortly followed by his torso, (M/n) made eye contact with a messy black-haired young man, even though he's heard a lot about him from Gojo, he's never seen him in person.

"Megumi-chan..." He said in a low tone, loud enough for the male to hear him and get in a defensive position.

"Divine dog!" Summoning two big furry animals, one black and one white, Megumi stared at him with a harsh glare. "Eat him."

His eyes widened at the order he gave the dogs, which immediately ran at him to bite his limbs off and eat him for breakfast, and he realized it was time to escape. He stepped on the window frame and glanced back at Megumi before jumping off, falling on his feet, and running away where he could hide for a while until Megumi decided he wasn't worth this time.

But of course, he's a curse, and he would always be worth Megumi's time.

Not caring about still being in his nightwear, Megumi ran back the way he came, heading to his room so he could pick up his phone and tell Gojo that a curse was in the academy. However, the white-haired teacher was already waiting for him by his door, showing him his usual bright, childish smile.

"Gojo-sensei, there's a curse in the-!" Raising his hand, Megumi kept quiet, deciding on listening to what Gojo had to say for once.

"That curse is (M/n), he's a student here," the dumbfounded look on his face made Gojo chuckle, who only started walking to the dorm's common room to explain the situation to his first-year student, "(M/n) is a curse now, but because of his cursed technique..." Making a pause to sit on the chair, he looked towards Megumi and waited for him to sit down too, "He became a humanized curse, he can still exorcise other curses as well, but he doesn't remember pretty much anything after he died."

Frowning for a second, Megumi thought about what he should ask, "How old was he when he died?"

Sighing and tilting his head down, Gojo felt sadness wash over him at the memory of that day over ten years ago.

"He was fifteen, he... he was a first year while I was a third year, he's my kouhai and I... I couldn't protect him," this was the first time that Megumi saw Gojo feeling sadness and regret, he was a little shocked about that, figuring out that (M/n) must've been someone really important in Gojo's life. "He likes to wander around and miss classes so... try to talk to him instead of making your dogs eat first." And with that, he got up from the chair and walked away.

Ever since then, Megumi could kinda say that he got along with (M/n) a bit better than he anticipated. He was quiet and usually zoned out, Gojo said that it was because something triggers a core memory that he ends up forgetting once he snaps out of it, the only way to make him come back is by making noise or touching him.

Usually, whenever Megumi has to do a mission that Gojo sends him, (M/n) comes with him, muttering something about 'helping and protecting everyone in the academy', so yeah, (M/n) was there when they had to find the cursed object, which was Sukuna's finger. Even if Itadori did help, if it wasn't for (M/n) he would've died there, if it was possible, more than once.

So now, watching as Ieri-senpai patched Megumi's injuries, he couldn't help but mutter something that came from somewhere within him that he couldn't control, "I shouldn't care for your life, but I'm starting to and it's becoming an inconvenience..."

Ieri didn't pay any mind to (M/n)'s words, but Megumi felt hurt by them but was unable to say anything since it was true. (M/n) has been taking care of him, getting hurt himself to prevent Megumi from getting more than a superficial scratch, and he always thought that it was because Gojo told him that he had to help everyone studying and teaching at the Jujutsu Academy, but those words meant that he was starting to care about him, and it wasn't just because he was ordered, but because they were starting to get close and were getting to know each other a little bit better.

And it happened again, after a few weeks after the Sukuna incident.

This incident did involve Sukuna as well, and while (M/n) decided to just watch with his cursed technique rather than help them, he was the number two witness of how Sukuna ripped Itadori's heart off his chest, throwing it on the grass, before proceeding to fight Megumi, then changing back with his vessel, and he watched as Itadori fell to the ground. The pouring rain only adds more feeling to the situation, observing Megumi as he held in his tears, watching his friend laying on the ground lifeless.

"I hate seeing you so sad, it's just so dramatic how humans show emotions and being sad is such a boring one," his voice made Megumi glance up at the roof of the prison, and frown, closing his eyes before leaning down to pick Itadori's body up, sitting under the rain with him in his arms while they waited for Ijichi to come back.

Right now, after following clues about what might be going on around the bridge, (M/n) did what he does best.

Watch.

He observed with blank eyes how Megumi was fighting that grade S curse, bleeding everywhere and almost losing consciousness a few times. And he finally did.

When Megumi found himself being cornered, he did. An incomplete domain.

(M/n) watched him with adoration, a shine appearing in his dull eyes, seemingly recovering life. He looked alive as he watched attentively how Megumi moved around in his domain, how he manipulated the shadows to his favor, and how he defeated the curse in a matter of seconds. It wasn't easy, and he knew, but he also knew that Megumi was going to win, after all, he had the potential to be the strongest sorcerer from the Zen'in Clan.

And at that moment, seeing him passed out on the hard floor holding Sukuna's finger, he stepped closer to him, and moved his hair away from his face, gently stroking his soft skin.

"Please ruin yourself for me and I'll watch in admiration as I fall apart as well."
