Y/n sits with his friends in Eddie's Pizza as all of them are laughing with each other and just having a good time.
Petra:You know Y/n it's nice to have hanging out with us so much more often now.
Harry:Yeah man, it's great having you around so much more often.
Y/n:Yeah well I'm not as anymore so that's good.
The sound of police sirens gets the others attention as they look out the window to see some police cars driving down the street at a fast pace with their sirens on, Gwen and MJ look to Y/n expecting him to be looking as well with a worried face but they instead see that he's simply ignoring the police cars as he eats a slice of Pizza.
Y/n looks to Gwen and MJ and sees as they both look to him before looking away with a certain look on their faces, Y/n looks down understanding why they looked to him thinks about why he's quick being Spider-Man. He quit cause he doesn't want anyone else close to him to die due to him being Spider-Man.
He doesn't think that he'd be able to handle the death of another loved one to feel the pain that it would cause him, They all enjoy their time together before each of them heading home with Y/n walking Petra, MJ, and Gwen home before heading to his own home and getting a good night's sleep.
It's the next day as Y/n and Otto are in the lab as they test out the prosthetic with their volunteer.
Volunteer:How does it work?
Otto:Exactly like a real arm, you think of what you want it to do.
The volunteer looks down to his name before he thinks about what to do and it works as he moves the arm and fingers around, Y/n and Otto look to each other excited and happy as the prosthetic works but then they're attention is drawn when the door to the lab is opened.
My people barge in as they begin packing up equipment and taking it with them.
Y/n:Hey what's going on here?
Otto walks up to a man taking a bag of equipment and putting it back down.
Otto:Stop that! That is highly sensitive equipment, I'd like to speak to the one who authorized this.
???:Y/n L/n how the hell are you?
The two of them look over as they see Norman Osborn walk into the lab.
Otto:I should've known.
Norman walks up to Y/n shaking his hand as he talks with him.
Norman:It's been awhile Y/n, you know heard from Harry that you had an internship. How would you feel about one at Oscorp?
After giving Y/n the offer Norman turns to the volunteer shaking his hand.
Norman:How are you doing Sir, we'll give you everything we can with the best equipment Oscorp Cybernetics can provide.
Otto:What are you doing here Norman?
Norman:Otto, I'm sadly confiscating the equipment here and pulling back your grant money due to safety hazards.
Otto:No, this has nothing to do with safety hazards does it?
Norman:I'm trying to help you Otto, you can continue your work in a secure environment of course.
Otto:At Oscorp.
Norman:You always were the smartest guy in the room.
The last of the equipment that they could take is gone as Norman along with everyone else leaves with it now just being Y/n and Otto, Otto sits down distraught as Y/n looks to him and places a hand on his shoulder.
Y/n:Hey I mean they didn't take everything, we can start over.
Otto:It's not that, Y/n without the grant money it would not longer be a paid internship for you, if I where you I'd suggest finding another job.
Y/n looks to Otto contemplating on what he said but makes the decision of staying.
Y/n:No I'm not leaving, I don't care about the money what we're doing here can change lives and that matters more. So we're gonna start over and we're not gonna let what happened stop us.
Otto:Okay then, you're right let's start over and we're gonna do it right this time but we'll start tomorrow it's getting late, you should head home Y/n.
Y/n:Right, tomorrow we're gonna start something great I just know it.
Y/n leaves putting away his lab coat as Otto looks around the pretty empty lab before walking up to a laptop when he finds an old email of a company offering a partnership with Octavius Industries, Otto clicks on the email and sees the company name being Aim Cybernetics.
