Chapter Five "Enter Electro Arc"

It's the end of the week, Friday as it's lunch time, I'm sitting down thinking but a tap to my shoulder gains my attention so I look over and see as Petra sits next to me.

Petra:You seem a bit troubled what's up?

Y/n:Nothing just thinking about tonight, it's gonna be big and I gotta make sure it's special.

Petra:Yeah homecoming seems likes it gonna be fun and not to mention it's Gwen's first one too.

Y/n:Yeah that's why it's gotta be special, I don't wanna let her down.

Petra:I know you won't Y/n, anyways me and MJ are the only ones without dates.

Y/n:Really who's Harry going with?

Petra:Harry's going with Liz, you and Gwen are obviously going with each other so it's just me and MJ that are going alone.

Y/n:Well I mean you don't need a date to have fun.

Petra:That's true anyways I'm actually pretty excited for tonight.

Y/n:Yeah it's gonna be nice to actually relax and have fun for once you know.

Petra:I hear ya.

We continue to talk with each other as the other's join us and we talk about tonight but then MJ brings something up.

MJ:Hey guys so while I was taking out the trash I saw Spider-Man swinging by but he looked really hurt and his costume was damaged.

I notice Gwen look to me and look at her quietly thanking her again for last night.

Harry:Damn I hope he's okay but it's like I said dude needs a suit upgrade so if his suit is really damaged I hope he gets one.

Y/n:"You have no idea, thankfully I finished my new suit and it's perfect."

Petra:If he upgrades then good for him but I'm more concerned if he's recovered from his injuries.

Gwen:Yeah I hope so too.

After that conversation we talked to each other more before the bell rang and we headed back to class.

Timeskip

It's the end of the day as me and Gwen are walking together out of the school.

Gwen:So are you gonna go out on patrol before picking me up?

Y/n:Not today, I'm gonna head home too and get ready, my dad's letting me take mom's car to pick you up and we head to homecoming.

Gwen:Cool.

We hear a car honk and look to see Gwen's dad waving over at me and her, I wave back before looking to Gwen.

Gwen:Well there's my Dad so I'll see you later.

Y/n:Yeah I'll see you later tonight.

I lean in and kiss Gwen on the lips as she kisses back before we sperate and she gets in her Dad's as they leave, after they leave I make my way home and we I notice that no one's looking I head into an alleyway before I start swinging home. After swinging for a bit I get there and go through my bedroom window as I put down my backpack and head to shower to get ready for tonight.

After about an hour of getting ready I exit the bathroom in my Tuxedo that used to be my Dad's, my phone vibrates so I check and see it's a text from Gwen telling me that she's ready so I head down and grab the keys to my Mom's car opening up the back door putting in my backpack as it has my Spider Suit inside just in case, I then get in the front and start up the car before driving over to Gwen's place.

Arriving there I park the car and go to the door knocking on it as it then opens and I get a look of Gwen as she's in a really nice dress but with her own personal twist to it.
