Annoyance.
You feel it building inside of you and everything feels so wrong.

‘Is she awake’ was the voice I heard. It sounded faint, as if the person was leaving the room. ‘what’s wrong with you’ another voice echoed, I was trying to figure out whose voice it was but my senses betrayed me. I tried opening my eyes, using all my might but it only made the headache go worse.

I could feel the breeze make its movement on my skin. I finally opened my eyes, taking in the environment I was in. It was a room, very big. It smelt familiar, making my stomach rumble in delight. I tried standing up, making my self seem more awake.

I looked at my self in the gigantic mirror, standing few feet away from me. Dressed in a purple night gown, thinking back at how I got here and who dressed me but to no avail, my memory failed yet again.

Taking my time, I had a clearer view of the room. It was really big and magnificent but the demeanour was just like Roux. Darker shades of ash and black. Stood on the wall was a big sculpture of a mini version of Roux and his sister. A beautiful woman who looked just like Roux with golden eyes stood holding his shoulder and I was guessing it was his mother. By the side was a man who looked rather distant but his smile seemed off like he was mourning someone.

The door handle moved before a tall figure made Its way to my direction.

“You should stay away from that” he said rather coldly. He looked stressed and annoyed.

“Are you okay?” I asked in a caring tone.

“It’s none of your business,” he replied sharply.

“I get it that it’s not my business, I just felt like asking,” I yelled out, my eyes fierce on his.

“You don’t talk to your Alpha that way!” He yelled back.

“And if this Alpha is acting all insane and doesn’t even know how to talk politely-“

“Watch your mouth Maya unless you don’t want your head the way it is,”

“Fine then, I’m gone. Deal with your useless issue yourself. If you don’t want be as your mate just reject me and I’ll be fine with that. I don’t care about this mate…”

“Quiet!!” He yelled, interrupting me from finishing what I was saying.

“Deal with yourself” I said coldly, leaving no space for any conversation. I stood immediately before I left for the door.

‘I’m such an idiot’ I whisper to myself.

I hastened my steps, my mind in another dimension that I didn’t notice when I hit someone.
“Great strength you’ve got there, you almost threw me to the floor” Anna’s cheeky voice spoke.

“I’m really sorry, I didn’t see you,” I replied

“Never mind” she said.

“I’ve been searching for you for a while now, I’m really sorry about yesterday, I forcefully gave you alcohol and it was so uncalled for”

“That shouldn’t bother you, I’m fine now,” I voiced out.

“It really should. Will wouldn’t give me a chance to myself. He kept scolding on the disadvantages of alcohol like he was some old school grandpa” Anna spoke firmly, her eyes meeting mine.

I didn’t have anything to say and smiling was a good cover up.

“And again… good morning!” She said causally.

“How was your night?” She asked smiling cheekily.

“My night was quite okay, except for the fact that I was unconscious till this morning”
