White moon.
The moon is a fragment of emotion that is calm and hides plenty of secrets.

I woke up to to find Axina still asleep. I struggled getting out of bed, scratching my eyes and yawning. I stretched my hands, making my self to seem more awake. I thought of waking Axina but what happened last night came fresh on my memory.

I headed for the bathroom immediately, brushing my teeth before I took a quick shower. I came out only in my dressing robe when a knock was heard on the door. I calculated my steps before I went for it. I opened the door for Maria who went past me. She headed for the bed before she was sat down.

“Can we have a quick chat, I want to show you something,” She said.

I examined Maria’s features, trying to make out what she was about to say and then her gaze caught mine.

“Okay,” I responded, coming closer to where she was. She moved her hands in circles and what seemed like a small portal was formed with vivid images of white moon. I watched eagerly and seeing what was happening almost made me cry. I felt really sorry for my brother, the look on his face was terrible.

“Ralia dear, your pack is in danger but it’s just a phase of how the war would be. You alone have the power to save them before it’s too late. In the last war when your mama was pregnant of you, something similar happened but she handled it. People thought she had healing powers but it was just you back then. You may or may not remember but you transferred some of your powers to your mother to help the pack. You will have to listen to your heart, what that little voice says to make the right decision,” I mind wasn’t at rest and was a war zone all on its own.

“How would I be able to go there without revealing my self?” I asked her.

She wore an encouraging smile on her face. She looked at me pointing to my chest, the region where the heart is located.

“My heart would tell me?” I asked confused but she only smiled at me.

“I’ll be leaving now. If you don’t mind, Axina could accompany you. I’ve already explained all this to her, It would help her in some way too,” She said before she left, closing the door behind her.

I went ahead to the side Axina was, nudging her to wake up but she laid there like a log of wood. I left from her side to the bathroom, wetting my hands with water which I used to sprinkle on her Face. She jerked immediately, waking up from her deep slumber.

“Oh Maya! What now. I’ve not slept enough” she murmured, rolling to the other side of the bed.

I took hold of a pillow and without much calculation, I threw it right at her.

“come on sleepy head, it’s morning already and perhaps, we have a mission to take care of,” I said rolling my eyes at Axina who took hold of another pillow and threw it right at me.

“Don’t mess with me grandma,” she laughed, no longer feeling sleepy. She came out of the bed like a demon had suddenly possessed her. She removed her clothes, throwing them on the bed before heading for the bathroom immediately.

I went over to Axina’s wardrobe looking for a nice clothe to wear. My eyes rummaged the area. I took a pair of blue shorts and my black hoodie which I wore when I came. I got dressed and just then, Axina came in. Her hair still damp with droplets of water tapping on her shoulders slightly.

“You dressed already?” She asked looking at me from head to toe.

“No I’m still naked,” I answered sarcastically.

“It’s okay, I was just asking and please forgive my wrong sense of reasoning,” She said in between laughs and I was so happy she was back to her old self.
