One with him.

I sat in front of the mirror with Axina behind me. Her hold on my hair was soft, she held on to the white comb while I looked back at my reflection in the mirror. I couldn’t believe it. It was still like yesterday when we barely knew each other and I was in a trance like state because his presence alone was alluring.

A week has passed since Shelley’s recovery and nothing has been Heard. We were a little bit peaceful but we knew better than to loose balance. The pack boarders are secured and it was still a daily routine to train.

Axina came the day Shelley recovered and has decided join the pack.

Anna was still herself but more like lovestruck as she was always seen with Dylan. It was no surprise that they were already marked. She wasn’t someone to delay the inevitable.

“You look beautiful. I’m sure he’ll love it,” Axina complimented after she applied the finishing touch. I smiled at her before I stood from where I was.

I wore the blue long sleeve gown that was just above my knees. I smiled at her one last time before she embraced me.

“Just breathe Maya,” she said after she released me from the hug. I set the gown in a way that was going to be comfortable before I wore the black leather boot.

“I’m really anxious Xina, I shouldn’t be doing this, it’s just-“

“Relax, relax. It’s just a date. It’s not like you’re attending a burial or something,”

A knock was heard on the door and pulse quickened. All that Axina had said just went down the drain and I felt more anxious than ever.

Breathe in Maya, breathe in.

I try to comfort my self but it wasn’t working. Axina opened the door and outside, he stood like a gentle man waiting for me to take hold of his hands.
He looked like a god that had taken the form of a human.
The look in his eyes was enough to light up all the fireflies in my stomach.

Axina hands were on my shoulders and before I could blink my eyes, it was gone. The gesture alone was everything. It gave me little strength and I took hold of his hands and looked into his eyes, feeling all of the intensity.

“You look beautiful,” He complimented.

“You don’t look bad yourself,” I replied.

I followed him down the hallway,  out of the pack house. The stares I got were making me more anxious and as if noticing this, he  slid his hands down my waist, drawing me closer to him.

We entered the black jeep that was ready for us and in no time, we were outside the pack boarder. Going further, he made another turn down to the woods that was miles away from town before he stopped.

The crickety sound of the insects and the crunching sound of the leaves below my foot was enough to keep me alert. His large hands took hold of my soft hands, leading me further into the woods.

Roux had his own way of doing things and here I was thinking we were going to go to some fancy restaurant or something.

The sight in front of me was worthy to behold. It was both beautiful and enchanting. A table for just the both of us. The ground was littered with white lily, my favourite. Fireflies to brighten up the place and the moon in its clearest form.

He planted a soft kiss on my forehead before he led me to my seat. I savoured every bit of the moment. From the taste of the food to the way he looked at me. The moon the stars and all the things about the night that I loved.

“How did you find this place?” I asked.

“It’s lonely, far and the same time beautiful,” I commented waiting for him to reply.

“It was a gift, one that my aunt gave to me,” He replied, a smirk visible on his face.

“She gifted all of this place to you! That’s really nice,” I voiced.

“You don’t have to think about all that Maya. Just live in the moment and let’s make today memorable,” He stood from his chair, coming to where I was.

“Do you want to play chase?” He asked.

I was delighted to accept his offer as it was something that my body needed and I’ll love but I couldn’t help but think if it was safe enough.

“Don’t worry Maya, no one would find you here. It’s all mine and people know better than touch something that’s mine and no human would dare to walk up to this part by this time of the day,”

I stood from my seat with him towering above me. He began to remove his clothes until he was left with nothing but his boxers. I took in the sight of the godly body in front of me before I removed my clothes with just my  underwear on. I smiled shyly at him before I went to a nearby tree to shift.

I paws hit hard on the ground before I started to run. Chase was a traditional game where the females were meant to chase the males. It strengthens the mate bond and something that sings out to the two souls. The scent becomes sharper and the feelings irresistible.

Once I caught on to his scent, I began to chase. Everything was sharper than before, the insects, the soil against my paws. I was one with my wolf and together we ran in search of our other half. His enticing scent wrapping around us like a thread and calling to us like a song. We followed the song, our body swift and moving with the breeze.

I ran wild passing the trees and chasing after him. His scent was sharper telling us that we’ve almost caught up to him. We pushed, increasing the pace, his scent making it unbearable for us. It was driving us in a state of overdrive making the chase thrilling.

We had neared him and his brown eyes was enticing drawing us to him.

We moved closer, his breath on us. He nuzzled our cheeks, with his.

My wolf leaned more, purring in delight. We rolled on each other, him on top of me and I was too stubborn that I wanted to find my place on top of him. He reclaimed his position again before he nipped my ears.

We both rolled down the woods before I hit my back on a tree.

I yipped, my blue eyes staring at his before I began to run, allowing him to chase after me. He caught onto me in no time and we both stood, static, staring at each other.

As if we knew what we both wanted, bones started cracking and we shifted back, naked.

We didn’t mind that as were already consumed with each other to think straight. He neared me and I went closer to him, leaving no distance between us. He captured my lips in his, sending my body in overdrive. It was rough and wild. He held on to my waist, bringing me closer to him.

His kiss moved down to my neck, licking and numbing the tender skin with my legs going weak. He held tight to me, his teeth grazing my skin. When he found my sweet spot, I couldn’t help but moan, holding him, my fingers grazing his skin with the desire and pleasure that was coursing through me.

“You’re mine forever,” He whispered across my skin. It was like I was on fire but the fire wasn’t only engulfing but leaving something, taking all form of reason and replacing it with pleasure.

His fangs were itching to come out and the havoc his tongue was doing to my skin was not Letting me think straight. His fangs itched closer, preparing me for what’s to come.

And then it hit me like thunderstorm, it was painful at initial contact before it was replaced by thunderstorms of pleasure. Bolts of lighting igniting the spark inside of me.

His bite, it was an ecstasy I didn’t want to come out from, something I wanted to relish forever. It branded me, branded me with his mark.

My sharp fangs grazed his skin before it went down, layers upon layers, drawing blood, branding him, tying the thread forever, our very soul, becoming one.

I felt him, everything. His fears, thoughts, all of him. We were whole, we were one.

He sent tender kisses on his mark which sent another thunderstorm of pleasure. His kisses were doing things to my body, wrecking havoc and tendrils of desire.

He caught on to my lips again, his kiss sending tremors down my body. Breaking me in fragments.

A look, it was all it took for him to know what I wanted, the lust, the desire. I couldn’t wait anymore.
