Y/n entered the church with reluctance, not wanting to be here AT ALL. They went to make the nagging of their fellow neighbors stop, everyone insisted they had to visit at least once.

The human purposely choose a seat in the very back, they watched the puppets from their neighborhood fill up the rest of the room together with some strangers.

Everyone went silent as a yellow puppet walked up a small platform, dressed modestly in black and white, with a few cross symbols here and there.

The way he spoke made shivers run down body, not the good kind.

Y/n felt like air was getting suffocating as the praying session continued, nothing weird in particular was said but it felt wrong.

So very wrong... you couldn't breath-

In a panicked daze they stumbled towards the exit, unintentionally making everyone fall silent, simultaneously snapping their heads in their direction as if they where in a trance.

Priest closed the bible he had been receding lines from, it was considered a grave offense to disrupt the praying session.

He stared intensely at the panicking Y/n, wondering what caused them to act out like this. Did the words of his god not reach them yet?

The longer he stared at them the more he felt the need to make them his part of his loyal followers. They looked so pure yet unaware of the truth, he would be sure to enlighten them.

Y/n didn't remember falling asleep but somehow woke up on a hard wooden bench. They let out a groan, rubbing the back of their neck as it felt sore from the uncomfy sleeping position.

"I was wondering when you would wake up. You've been out cold for hours." Priest said, notifying the other of his presence.

"How did that happen... Anyway I have to go. " Y/n firmly stated, their eyes scanning the room for a exit.

He looked at you as if you where silly.

"No can do Y/n, it's already dark outside. I can't let you roam around so late. You'll be much safer here, with me."

"I never told you my name..."

"Your neighbors told me, from what I heard you sound very lovely. I'm happy to have you as our newest member."

"NO. I did not agree to join, I will be taking my leave."

The human gave the yellow puppet a defiant glare, sprinting towards the furthest corner of the room, to their horror they couldn't locate any door or window to escape from.

The room was circular, with a high ceiling, looking closely there where some stained glass windows but far to high to reach. They contained some disturbing images about a building with eyes.

Priest followed their gaze, a off putting smile appeared on his face. "That is Home, our g̵͚̗̥̟̻͙̓̈́̅̑́̚ô̶̫̪̳͠d̶̼̗͕͎̱̓̌͐̓̇͒̌̅. He is all knowing and everywhere."

Y/n felt sick to their stomach as he said those words with such a intensity. "I really like to leave-"

"Hm-mm what is that, resistance? One word of advice, don't deny him, his patience has a limit."

"Are those eyes?!"

Y/n backed away from the walls of the church as a dark substance started seeping out from the walls and stained glass. It looked like ominous tears of blood.

Eyes appeared out of the substance, all focused on them, following their every movement, ready to consume them.

It was very traumatic to witness-

The only patch of ground in this room that seemed unaffected by all this happening was where Priest stood.

He didn't seem the least bit bothered, a serene expression on his face. His arms where open, inviting them to come to him, to seek his protection.

Y/n took their chances, rushing over to him, fearfully clutching onto his robes. The moment they did, his arms were wrapped around them protectively.

"You are safe now, if you comply I'll make you sure don't you end up like our last... sacrifices~"
