On this particular day, Y/n, the lively Gen Z member of the group, had planned something extra special.
Their plan was simple yet sure to cause a stir, a get-together featuring silly shirts for everyone.
Original, was the first to receive his gift, cluelessly holding a shirt that said, "Another day, another slay." He looked at it, puzzled but smiling.
"Slay? Like... with a sword?" He asked, tilting his head confused. To which they chuckled and ruffled his hair. "Just roll with it."
Next in line was Opposite, who already seemed ready for an argument. He took one look at his shirt, which stated "Ur giving cringe" and his face turned a deep shade of red.
"This is stupid! What on earth does this even mean?! And wipe that smirk off your darn face!" He grumbled, reluctantly putting it on.
Rainbow, felt his pride and sanity slip further away as he was handed a shirt that said "Don't talk to me I'm mewing." He sighed deeply, looking at Y/n with a mix of confusion and resignation.
"You and your strange phrases. I hope you grow out of this soon." He muttered, though he put the shirt on without further protest.
Royal, ever-supportive and enthusiastic happily received a shirt that said "snatched" To which he beamed with delight, immediately donning the clothing article.
"This is quite splendid! And very fitting I must say." He exclaimed, adjusting his regal posture.
Priest, always mindful of his appearance and duties, was next. He hesitated when he saw his shirt's bold "OK Boomer" text.
"I hope the Lord understands." He whispered, putting it on and hoping his god wouldn't see him in such attire.
Mob had a slightly intrigued expression and he unfolded the shirt that said, "Alpha male" He furrowed his eye and tried to determine if this given to disrespect him or if his neighbor gave it as a genuine gift. It wasn't so much the text bothering him, mostly the fact that it was pink and decorated with a unicorn.
"This is acceptable for now. Only today I shall wear it." He slowly but deliberately said.
Next up was Lovesick, who looked up into their eyes with a dreamy smile, didn't even look at the text, "delulu is the solulu".
"You always know what to get me. This is perfect! I love it darling~" He said, his voice almost a purr of satisfaction as was already planning on wearing it for as long as possible.
Actor, strutted forward with a grabby outstretched hand, the last to receive his shirt. "She ate" it said. He bursted into a laugh while he enjoyed watching the others squirm in their new attire.
"Watch and learn, see how a pro wears it!" He proclaimed, reveling in attention he would sure get from these words spelled in bold big letters.
Lastly, Y/n put on their own shirt that read, "Main character vibes." Truly capturing their true nature.
They grinned at their friends. "Alright, squad! How do we look?"
The group gathered together, each wearing their own silly shirts before having to take the strut of slay through the neighborhood.
Original stared at them confused, still not understanding his shirt's meaning but wearing it nonetheless. Opposite grumbled and cursed under his breath, clearly embarrassed. Rainbow stood with a tired expression, trying to ignore the odd phrase on his shirt. Royal proudly displayed his shirt, feeling like a fashion icon. Priest quietly prayed for forgiveness. Mob's attempted seemed to look down on his shirt but at the same time unbothered. Lovesick stayed close to Y/n, beaming with happiness, definitely lost in his own delusional world. While Actor continued to strike dramatic poses, taking selfies like the attention seeking puppet he is and would always be.
Sometimes, it's the little things that create the best memories.
Though, not for all-
Some of them if not all definitely considered Y/n to be a menace.
