"Seriously... Trying to escape again? I'm getting real tired of running after you."

The factory owner was restricting his captured test subject from fleeing. Firmly holding them up by the nape of their neck, like a mother cat would hold a kitten by it's scruff but it was accompanied by a look of condescension.

When they started kicking Rainbow threw them over his shoulder, carrying them like a sack of potatoes. Y/n struggled as they had no control over anything, as he walked to the main entrance of the factory.

But it wasn't to give them freedom.

He kicked open the heavy, metal door, all the security personnel quickly stepped aside.

"So, little mouse, what's your next move?" He had his other hand wrapped around their throat again squeezing it to hear them squeaking for air.

"The moment you lock me up again I'll just escape like I always do!" They snap back defiantly, as they twist and turn in his hold, desperate for release.

"Oh, yes, you will most definitely be locked back up. But..."

They felt a ping of unease as the tone in his voice became more sinister.

"I won't just be just locking you back up."

They wondered what he meant by that.

He walked over to a set of very tall barbed wire fences. It looked impossible to get over, as they were extremely high up, surrounding the whole area and private property he owned. He started to climb the first fence with them still on his shoulder.

"Our rounds of chase are over. I have a different game we will be playing now.."

As Rainbow climbed on the second fence Y/n started to feel even more on edge. They actually did have a fear of heights and could see the ground getting further out of reach.

This was really starting to feel like a life-and-death scenario.

You hoped that he was just bluffing...

As he reacted higher heights they unconsciously start to cling onto him. This wasn't the same as running through the factory halls, crawling through vents, jumping over big machines, breaking through glass walls or hanging onto the ceiling.

They where good at running and evading guards and him (boss bitch himself) but now they where fully dependent on him not to let them fall.

"You are pretty clingy, for not wanting to be here or around me."

His voice was smug, it didn't even seem that he was bothered by the fact he was hundred meters up in the air while carrying a body.

"Maybe you shouldn't be so eager to escape, if you're so attached to me?"

The human held back to throw insult in his face as they felt their pride crumble.

They felt anxious and... humiliated. Gone was their brave personality as they where put in this situation.

"I'm just scared of heights... please don't drop me."

"Oh, don't worry, I won't drop you."

They where still tense as he swung around effortlessly on the barred fence. He was quiet for a couple of moments before speaking again.

"In fact, it's much worse than that. I am going to be throwing you off."

His tone was anything BUT sweet as he stared at him with a malicious smile.

You had truly pushed his patience to far with your escape charades.

They panick, they didn't want to be thrown off, refusing it. He felt that they had started to cling onto him tighter.

"You're a stubborn one." He sighed as he took in their fearful expression. "Let's see if my little mouse can land on their feet but I doubt it be as graceful as a cat. In five seconds. Four... Three... Two..."

After he finished counting down, he flung them off of his shoulder.

His eyes followed every movement as he watched them fall to the ground. There was a loud *THUMP* as their body connected with the earth.

But the test subject wasn't dead.

They were still breathing, but barely.

They passed out after a couple of seconds, wondering if they would ever wake up again.

They woke up.

Y/n's eyes fluttered open. They were in immense pain, feeling like they had just broken a lot of bones. They felt like they were on the brink of death.

They stiffly moved around, feeling coldness of steel underneath of them. They where laying on a metallic operating chair with the least amount of comfort ever. While tubes and cords connecting to monitors where attached to them.

"Ah, you finally woke up.."

Y/n's head snapped into Rainbows direction but they moved too quickly making them dizzy as a headache resurfaced.

They wanted to lunge at him but came to the horrific realization they where paralyzed from their legs to their abdomen.

"You lost the game. Now you can't run away anymore my lab mouse. We are far from done with the experiments here."
