"I'm quitting! I refuse to stay any longer with a show that disregards it's employees like this."
Y/n slammed their hand down, the force they used caused everyone in the room to look up.
"You are forgetting you have a contract you need to oblige too."
One of the managers remarked, clearly displeased with the disruption. She took out a piece of paper with their signature.
You wanted to walk up and shove the piece of paper down her throat.
They where back in their trailer, everyone had their one for personal use. A suitcase was thrown on the bed, as well as multiple items they would pack up.
Screw the contract, you didn't want to stay here any longer!
They where part of the rebooted cast, acting out their role as best as they could but after they heard what happened to the original cast...
They where just put away, disregarded all because of some accidents which wheren't even their faults?!
Y/n had overheard producers talk about how they even considered erasing the OG's all together.
What would stop them from doing the same to them or their friends if they ended up giving less than desirable results.
Reboot knocked on the door of Y/n's trailer, he could hear them walk around inside but it didn't seem they noticed his arrival.
He waited a little longer but nothing...
He planned to return to his own trailer and come back later at a more suitable time but a certain sound made him rethink his decision.
"Neighbor, you crying?"
At last they noticed him, walking over to open the door. Reboots smile dropped as he saw Y/n in tears, wanting to take them in his arms.
They clearly had trouble pronouncing a normal sentence, just very emotional. He took their hand, leading them back inside to find a more comfortable place to calm down.
When he saw the mess in the trailer he only started getting more concerned.
"Please tell me what happened."
"I'm l-leaving and... and n-never coming back-"
Y/n teared up, trying to put on a brave face. They walked off, trying to continue packing their things.
Reboot wasn't sure what caused such thoughts but knew he had to calm them down. He once again went to grab their hand.
"I don't know what is going on but please take and deep breaths and try to relax."
"Hehe yeah... can't forgot to breath."
They awkwardly laughed, as if they really forgot to breath for a long while.
Reboot had moved the suitcase and pile of clothing from the bed to make room for him and Y/n.
The two where sitting side by side, he had one arm wrapped around them, comfortingly. He listened as they told them their reasoning.
"Are you truly planning to leave the show... leave me?" He asked, hoping to convince them otherwise.
"I'm not so sure anymore... I do feel a bit better getting this of my chest. Thanks for being here." They looked at the ground, unsure.
Maybe you where a bit hasty in your decision to get away...
"Whatever your choice will be, I'll be here to support you. Though I sincerely hope you stay, you are extremely dear to my heart."
Reboot slightly turned around to look at them better, placing a hand on the little embroidered heart on his sweater.
It was something Y/n had sewn onto it for prank or dare. He couldn't remember but he ended up really adoring how it looked.
"I would miss you the most for sure! And your poofy hair."
Y/n's face tinted red, it was no use trying to hide it. They reached out a hand to pat his hair, it felt felt soft and comforting.
They could feel themselves relax, the negative feelings where replaced by positive ones. But for how long...
"Will you help me clean up my trailer?"
"Oh would you look at the time neighbor! I suddenly remembered I have to-"
Y/n had grabbed Reboot by the edge of his sweater, making sure he would stay right where he was.
He would help you out, it was the neighborly thing to do afterall.
