Killua grabbed the sandwich made for him and, just as he was about to take a bite, Gon came bounding through the door, Shoto following close behind.  Shoto sat down on the pillow across from Katsuki and Gon sat in his lap. The two boys started to chow down, but were so excited to share their accomplishments that they started talking with their mouths full and at a very loud volume. Obviously Katsuki would not stand for it. "YOU BRATS!!" The boys stopped talking, stopped chewing, and stopped breathing. "I put a lot of time into that food. Talking with your mouths full won't let you taste it. You talk. You eat. But only one at a time. Have I made myself clear?" They both hurriedly nodded their heads, and finished the bite in their mouths in silence. Katsuki took this moment to bring up what they really came here to talk about. "So. Me and Icyhot were thinking of coming with you to greed island."

Killua choked his food down and was about to question them, but Gon beat him to it. "What!! Why?!" Gon yelled, spitting out his half chewed food. Fortunately for Katsuki, Killua was sitting in front of him. Or it would have been if the brat didn't dodge last second. Katsuki tried to avoid the food coming straight for him, but a bit of the chewed up sandwich still ended up in his hair. "You little shit! Finish what's in your mouth before you speak!" Katsuki growled out. Gon leaned slightly further into Shoto who wrapped his arms around the boy. Katsuki really could be scary, no matter how long you've known him. He felt sorry for the kid. As soon as Katsuki blew up, he immediately quieted down and tried to get the piece of food out of his hair.

After Katsuki finally got the piece of food out of his hair, with a little help from Killua, he decided he would answer Gon's question. "We are going with you because we're board." The boys just looked at him "Seriously?!" "Yup! And besides, who's going to bail you out of the inevitable trouble you're going to be in?" Gon looked touched and Killua looked offended. "You don't think we can take care of ourselves?" Katsuki looked down at him, "I didn't say that." "But?" "But, you do remember the person you're traveling with don't you? He doesn't have the best track record." "Dang, I forgot about that, you're right." Killua said looking in thought. Now Gon looked offended and went to object when he was interrupted by Shoto, "I wouldn't. You'll only dig yourself a deeper grave." "Wha- Why?!" "Because what they're saying is true." At that Gon slumped down against Shoto "I'm not that bad." He quietly pouted to himself.

The day came, it was time to show off what they'd learned and get into Greed island. The boys had two more with them than anticipated, but it was always more fun that way. They made their way into what looked like a theater with a lot of seats and stage. The man they'd met before was on stage, and there were already plenty of people taking seats. They decided to sit in the middle of all the people. Killua and Gon began talking, more speculating, how the entrance exam will work. Meanwhile Katsuki and Shoto were listening to the other participants, hoping to gain a little bit of insight. They weren't waiting very long when the man introduced himself as Tsezguerra. He told everybody to line up by the stairs of the stage to have their nen be reviewed, and that it was a quick process. Immediately a large crowd of people rushed towards the stage with very few people deciding to hang back. As the group watched everyone, debating if they want to stand and wait or sit and wait, a man popped up behind them "You kids made the right decision to stay back!" Gon being the curious kid he is asked "Why do you say that mister!" "Well-" And that's when Katsuki and Shoto tuned him out, reducing him to a buzz in the background. When Katsuki finally got tired of the annoying little fly in his ear, he stood up and without a word walked to join the line. Shoto just sighed, knowing exactly why Katsuki had gotten up so suddenly. "C'mon" He turned and said to the other two. Shoto spared a glance at the man behind them, but not more then a second before he turned himself around and walked away. Gon and Killua quickly said goodbye to the man and ran after the other two, Katsuki pulling the two boys ahead of him.

When they were at the front of the line, Killua was the first to step up. He started to use ten when Tsezguerra scoffed under his breath. Killua only smirked at him. A second later the nen surrounding him was electrified. Tsezguerra's eyes widened, but recognized Killua's strength and passed him. Killua was still unhappy about his doubt earlier so when he walked by the much taller man, he gave him a little jolt. Tsezguerra grunted in mild pain and surprise, as well as anger when he heard Killua snicker as he walked off. Before he could react further Gon walked on stage. He didn't change his aura like Killua did. Instead he focused it into his fist and punched the wall. It shook the whole building, and almost put a whole through the very, very thick stone wall. He was impressed with how fast both of them had improved and passed Gon as well. The next person to walk on stage caught his attention. Shoto walked up with dual colored hair and eyes. Tsezguerra shook his head to get over his initial shock, "Alright, show me what you got kid." He expected to see something right away, but instead he watched Shoto look back at the line. The person he was looking was the next one up. He just shrugged, nodded, and made the little bit gesture with his fingers to which Shoto nodded. He turned back around and held out his hand. The temperature around both Shoto and Tsezguerra began to drop, and a perfect replica of a butterfly knife formed out of ice in Shoto's hand. He skillfully opened the knife, showing his skills with handling the blade, before he brought it down to his arm. The cut he made was not to deep but still bled plenty. Tsezguerra was both worried and disturbed at what Shoto had done, but those feelings were subdued when he closed the knife, held it in the hand of his hurt arm, and brought his now free hand over the cut. A small layer of ice could be seen over the wound. Then, without warning, he threw the knife, and lodged it deep in the stone wall, showing off it's durability. By the time Tsezguerra had looked at the knife in the wall then back to Shoto's wound, it was already healed and no ice could be seen.

Tsezguerra couldn't believe what he just saw! He'd be a fool if he didn't pass him. He was about to speak when he met Shoto's eyes, and he just walked away and through the door for passed participants. He knew he passed. Tsezguerra just sighed. That's four weird kids today, those three boys and an impressively strong little girl, and considering that Shoto knew the next boy in line, it was probably about to be five.
