Allison scoffs. "I don't get this. I don't get why he's out here, why he left us. And I can't... I can't stop my hands from shaking."
"It's okay," Jackson assures her as he takes her hands in his. "It's okay. It's gonna be okay."
I don't know what he's trying to do, but I know he and Lydia are together, and I know Allison and Scott are together. I don't know what his game plan is, but I don't like it.
It's quiet for a while when Lydia speaks. "Jackson, you handed me the sulfuric acid, right? It has to be sulfuric acid. It won't ignite if it's not."
"I gave you exactly what you asked for, didn't I?" Jackson responds.
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure you did."
I look over at the beakers before walking over to them. I examine the two bottles, and I scoff. I slowly turn around to look at Jackson. "If you screwed this up, so help me God... I will make you regret it every day until the day you die," I threaten him. The expressions on their faces all warp, and I narrow my eyes at him.
Suddenly, a growl echo's throughout the school, and my eyes widen. Jackson groans before hitting the floor. Jackson screams in pain as he grips the back of his neck.
What the hell?
Both Allison and Lydia help him up. "No, I'm fine." He pulls away from them. "Seriously, I'm okay."
"That didn't sound okay at all," Allison shakes her head.
"What's on the back of your neck?" Stiles asks as he reaches forward. He smacks his hand away and huffs.
"I said I'm fine."
"Well, it's been there for days, and he won't tell me what happened," Lydia admits.
"As if you actually care," Jackson spits.
"All right, can we not argue for half a second here?" Stiles sighs.
"Where's Scott? He should be back by now...," Allison points out.
"You're right," I nod.
I hear something click, and we look over at the door. "Scott?" Allison questions before rushing toward the door. She tries to open the door, but it won't budge. "Scott!"
"Where's he going?" Lydia asks.
Allison bangs on the door and tries to turn the knob.
He trapped us in.
She keeps shouting his name when Lydia speaks. "Stop!" Allison looks back at her. "Do you hear that?" I listen closely when I hear police sirens in the distance. "Listen." We rush over to the windows and peer out to see a few cop cars pulling into the parking lot.
It's over... It's finally over.
