I'm stuck on my butt while everything is going on

A bitter taste was lingering in her mouth.  Maybe it was an after effect of the harmful gas she breathed in or the sour feeling of being taken down by something like that instead of in a head on battle.

It was humiliating for her.

The hospital room was quiet because there weren't any visitors and the occupant was deep in thought.  She wasn't in the mood for visitors anyway so when she was told her classmates wanted to she her, she had the nurse shoo them away.  This wasn't the time for their upbeat personalities.  She'd already been informed of what happened after she blacked out.  Bakugo had been taken, fifteen students including herself were knocked unconscious, eleven were injured and only thirteen the remaining thirteen were left unscathed.  As for the pro heroes, Pixie-Bob was in critical condition from a head injury and Ragdoll had gone missing, presumably taken by the villains.  The only upside was that three of the seven villains that attack had been arrested.  But it was barely anything, the damage had been done.  Both UA and the pro heroes reputations were now to be dragged through the mud.

Other than the humiliation of being defeated so easily, there was another thing gnawing at Maki's mind.
'How did they even find the location of the training camp in the first place?  It's just like what happened at USJ, the League always seems to know where & when to attack.  Another dent in the reputation of heroes created each time.  That must mean that someone else must be calling the shots behind scenes.  The League doesn't seem smart enough to come up with such complicated moves on their own.' She thought as she lay on her side in the hospital bed while her glasses and phone sat on the bedside table.  'I'm going off on a tangent.  How did they find where the camp was?  Only the upper management of UA and the Pussycats knew where it was so they couldn't have just researched it.  WAIT!!!'  The cogs in Maki's head came to a stop at the realisation.  'They didn't know where it was, they must have someone working for them who did know!  The spy must have been at UA for quite some time because that would also explain how they knew where and when to attack at USJ so perfectly.  The question is... who is it and why?'

Maki sat up in bed.  She decided it was best to keep quiet about her discovery because if she didn't conceal her suspicions, she could end up killed and it would rip UA apart if everyone didn't know who to trust.

'What the hell?!' Maki could not believe what she was seeing on the TV screen.  The headmaster, Aizawa and Vlad King were on the news for a press conference about what had happened at the training camp.  She knew her teacher absolutely hated the media so the circumstances must have been exceptional for him to do this.  Maki felt her teeth grinding as the reporters began asking scathing questions.
'Sadistic bastards!  You know exactly what position UA is in because they didn't cancel the Sports Festival.  You just want to watch them squirm!'

There seemed to be one reporter in particular who had it out for them and was cross examining them and was clearly going to enjoy it if the teachers tripped over their lines.  He asked Aizawa why he let the students use their quirk, he answered that they didn't know the full situation and did it to prevent the worst possible outcome, which in his opinion was the students being tortured and killed.  Nezu then went on to say that the situation would have been a lot worse if Tetsutetsu & Kendo hadn't defeated the gas villain, he also went on to say that they were seeing to the wellbeing of the students and weren't seeing any signs of emotional trauma.  The reporter then asked Nezu if UA had already failed in securing the students' well-being due to not checking Bakugo's mental instability and his "villain-like" performance during the Sports Festival.
'Damn it, this reporter knows exactly what he's doing.  He's really out to get them, don't fall for Mr Aizawa!' She thought in anger and apprehension when she saw the disdainful expression on her teacher's face.  To her relief and surprise, Aizawa bowed and apologised for letting him get taken but then went on to say that out of all the students, Bakugo was the one who showed that his conviction to be a hero was the strongest and he believed the villains' were foolish if they thought that they could turn Bakugo into a villain.  Nezu backed him up by saying that they were working with the Police Force to investigate Bakugo's whereabouts and promised to retrieve him.

The scene being broadcasted was a scene of total devastation.  All Might was fighting the mastermind who was calling the shots for the League of Villains, All For OneMaki had sincerely hoped that it was not him.  The Zenin clan had known about him for a long time and had been determined to protect their strong quirks from him so when they received the news that he had been killed by All Might, they came out of hiding and they, along with the other two big families quickly consolidated their influence and political prominence in hero society. It was now clear that he had survived so Maki guess that the clan would be taking precautions.  If he got locked up, they would be even more desperate to cling to power along with the Gojo clan and the Kamo clan.  It would be very inconvenient for Maki as they would have even more ways to get in the way of her promotion.

All For One had levelled a good chunk of Kamino ward and All Might was severely struggling against him.  Eventually, his normally muscular form shrivelled up and he became skeletal and gaunt.
'How the hell did he hide this for so long?' Maki thought, speechless.  'He must have been injured in their first fight and it must mean that he won't be able to use his quirk effectively.  That's why he took up teaching, he was getting close to retirement!'  The fight continued, increasing in intensity and brutality; the force of their blows creating large shockwaves and dust clouds that meant she couldn't see what was going on.  Eventually the final dust cloud cleared showing All Might standing victorious over his defeated foe.  As his downed foe was taken into custody and the sun rose over the horizon, the skeletal All Might raised his hand at the camera, pointing his finger at it.
"Now it's your turn!"

It was an ominous final message.  It could be interpreted in two ways.  It was meant for the villains still out there as a warning, however, it was also to the remaining heroes.  The Symbol of Peace had nothing left and couldn't support them anymore.  Maki took the second meaning to heart and fiercely clenched her fists holding the sheets.
'I've stuck here on my butt because I was unprepared for an attack.  The Symbol of Peace is no more now so that means villains are gonna get bolder from now on.  That only means one thing!  I...'
