After their bellies were filled and their energy levels skyrocketed, they began to gather the remaining supplies they needed to bring and got dressed. There were a few minor changes they needed to do. A few of her classmates also began to clean things up, mainly the band and backstage groups as they had simpler costumes consisting of a burnt orange T-shirt with a large white bold letter 'A' taking over most of the T-shirt with the word 'band' in the same font under it and their uniform trousers/skirts. Maki was wearing the dance group costume that consisted of a dark blue sleeveless bodysuit underneath a yellow jacket and skirt and brown cowboy boots. Maki was helping gather up the supplies as Aizawa debriefed them like the other teachers were doing with the other classes. He had just come back with Mirio and Eri, who were waiting somewhere else while he talked to them.
"If the alarm rings, even if it's a false alarm, the festival is done. So, call one of us if a villain appears and we'll help clear it up before it triggers the alarms." He explained, hand stuffed in his pockets as he was in a slouched position. "If we can't and the alarm goes off, it's your job to help evacuate the rest of the civilians and students. However, if a villain appears out of nowhere, you are to immediately contact the teachers and if a situation like this happens, your allowed to use your quirks to take the villain down while evacuating students and civilians." His face became stern, his eyes narrowed as her class froze from his stare. "Do not kid about this. There are going to be a lot of people here in a few short hours, understood?"

Each class was told this, a requirement if they wanted the festival to go off without a hitch. Aizawa held a pleased expression at their quick response.
"Yes, Mr Aizawa!" Was the class's ingrained response.
"Good. Now off with you."
Maki watched as her class scattered to finish up. They only had so much time.
"I'm leaving!"
"Be back quickly! We don't have much time before our performance!"
"I will!" Midoriya was out the door after that, heading out to get the rope they needed. Off to her left, Maki could feel the worry radiating off of Jiro. She was pacing a bit, twirling one of her earphone jacks while she tried to keep herself busy. Momo was fixing the hem on Uraraka's skirt, a pin in her mouth as her hands moved a sewing needle to fix whatever needed to be. Uraraka's though, was trying to calm Jiro down, offering some encouraging words and such. Others were finishing up as well.

The large stage had gone through the final preparations and the curtain were closed (except when Uraraka peeked out through the opening with both herself and Ashido) as civilians and students piled inside the large open space.  There were so many people there.  The amiable chatter blended together, some cheering, some chanting, some talking.
"There it is!"
"I can't wait to see it!"
"First years, you gotta do your best!"
"C'mon!  On with the show!"
"Show us what you got, first years!"
Hazel eyes gazed down over the more or less blend of colours from all kinds of people, momentarily picking out Mirio standing with Eri on his shoulder before her eyes moved on. In the back, Aizawa stood with Present Mic.
Everything was ready.
However...
"Is Midoriya not back yet? It's close to opening. I'll kill him after this if he doesn't turn up!" She said, anger rising.
"I don't see him yet." Ida said, he'd already sent Aoyama to the front gate to get him. Maki growled in frustration. Hopefully they'd both be-
"Wait!" Ida called out, his hand on his earpiece that was connected with the members of the staging and band team. "They're both back!"
Checking the time, she muttered to herself, "Midoriya just loves to arrive fashionably late, doesn't he..." Shaking her head as he arrived. Everyone was now in position as the lights were dimmed down and a hush washed over the crowd.
"Let's blow them away." She whispered as the clock struck ten and the curtains slid open just as the lights turned on.
