Which team to pick?

42 students managed to make it to the second round.  After another slot spin, the second game was a Cavalry Battle.  Midnight explained that teams could be a maximum of four people, one rider and at least one horse.  Each student was given a point value depending on the place they finished in in the previous game, increasing the higher the place they finished in.  This meant for Midoriya, as he ended up in first place, he was worth ten million points.  The looks of bloodlust from all the other students he earned made him shudder.  The players individual point would be added together to reach the team's total and would be displayed via head bands they wore.  The aim of the game was to steal headbands from other teams in order to increase their score, however, if they made another team fall on purpose they would be disqualified.  Fortunately, even if a team looses headbands or falls they could still compete until the 30 minute time limit was up.

They were given fifteen minutes to pick their teams.  Since she came second place, she was worth 205 points.  Maki wasn't sure which team to go for and most seamed to be made up.  She was just contemplating on joining one of the class B teams that had three or two people when someone tapped her shoulder.  It was Uraraka.
"Hey Maki, wanna join our team?" She asked
"Who's in your team already?" Maki asked, wanting to make sure it was worth joining
"Me, Midoriya and Tokoyami" she replied.  Midoriya being on the team would mean they would be targeted by pretty much all the other teams but her combat skills and quirk tools could prove to be a valuable asset.
"Sure, why not" she consented
"Brilliant!" The pink cheeked girl beamed, leading her over to where they were.
"Hey guys!" She called over to the others "Maki's on the team"
"Oh great!" Midoriya perked up
"So, have you got a strategy because it's already obvious that pretty much all the others will come for us" Maki pointed out
"Tokoyami will be at the front and I'll be the rider" the green haired boy explained "you and Uraraka will be at the sides"
"Sounds decent, Tokoyami can defend us from most attacks and Uraraka can float us away from any attacks at our feet.  I can give you guys my quirk tools to give us a better fighting chance" Maki mapped out, before unzipping her bag and get a few of her tools out.

"Okay, Uraraka you gonna be using this one" she handed a sword with a hand shaped handle to the pink cheeked girl "this sword can move its fingers to form a fist or to gab onto things and it can move independently from the user.  You don't have much experience using weapons so this one means you don't have to worry about your moves so much and I can advise you on how to manipulate it" Maki told her before handing the ratio cleaver to Tokoyami and explaining how it worked.  She then gave Midoriya arguably the most important quirk tool in her bag.
"Midoriya, you're most likely gonna have to defend in close combat so you'd better not disappoint me!" She barked at him causing him to quiver.
"R-right.  Umm, what's this one?" He asked looking at the jutte shaped dagger she'd given him,
"This one's a really powerful and special quirk tool so don't break it or loose it!"  Maki sternly instructed "it's called the Inverted Spear of Heaven and it nullifies all quirks on contact, use it for the enemies that get too close"
His eyes shone at what this weapon could do and he tightly held it to his chest before declaring "I'll protect it with my life!"
"You'd better" Maki said, she was going to hold him to that.
"What about you Maki?" Tokoyami asked
"Well" she said as she reached into her bag and took the Playful Cloud out "I'm gonna be using this, it's called the Playful Cloud.  It isn't imbued with a specific quirk, it's just pure destructive power that reflects the user's raw strength.  I used this to take down the zero pointer in the entrance exam.  It'll certainly send any players back a good distance."
"So cool!" Midoriya squeaked
"Stop staring the game's about to start!" Maki shouted which got the others engaged and they got into position, Midoirya wearing their headbands.  They also placed Maki's bag in the centre of their formation in case they needed to use different ones.

"AFTER 15 MINUTES TO FORM TEAMS AND TALK STRATEGIES, TWELVE CAVALRY TEAMS ARE PREPARED TO GO HEAD TO HEAD!" Mic announced.
"I see some unexpected student combinations" Aizawa pointed out curiously.
The countdown began and Midnight yelled "Start!"

All hell broke loose.
