The round eventually finished, all of Maki's classmates made it through.  They were now chatting in the break room because the examiner announced there would be a ten minute interval due to a glitch they'd found in the system just seconds afterwards and then they'd continue the exam.  The class were congratulating each other for passing the first round, some getting the food and bottles of water that were available. Some were spouting how they were able to pass, over-dramatisations of tall tales or just normal muttering on what happened otherwise. Maki explained her own adventures, describing her first opponent's quirk.
"I think it's illusions. Although they're weak upon contact with how it shattered like glass when she came at me from the air."
"Amazing! Think of all the possibilities that could happen!" Midoriya's eyes sparkled, storing the new information in his big brain (how he was able to remember all that, Maki would never know...). He then began to mutter to himself in true Midoriya manner.
"I haven't seen that in a while..." Momo chuckled as Jiro nodded.
"Yeah."
The green-eyed boy stopped when he realised how many eyes were on him, sheepishly giving them a grin.
"Sorry..." His shoulders tensed slightly, mostly unnoticeable by those around him but Maki saw and frowned. Glancing over her shoulder, hazel eyes watched as Shiketsu student, Camie Utsushimi, pass by, followed by another Shiketsu student through the rectangular lenses of her glasses. Maki looked back at Midoriya.
"What happened?"
"We... fought in the last round... She had a weird quirk..." Midoriya looked up and frowned. "She somehow can change into other people... she was all normal but then she took Uraraka's appearance..."
Uraraka shivered, "Creepy..."
He went on to explain his encounter with the busty girl, his frown deepening. He explained how she seemed to be fixated on particular students.

Upon first entering the stadium's battlefield, debris was everywhere - pillars were overturned, buildings were in shambles and the ground was cracked and jagged under Maki's feet. Walking proved to be a challenge if one didn't know where to step. It really resembled the barren, desolate landscape of a natural disaster, resembling the Kamino Ward Incident, where the second part of their exam would take place. A rescue scenario. Done by a group of professional rescuees from a group called HUC. She hadn't known that was a thing. But in their world, anything was possible. The professional rescuees were scattered and would be grading them on their performance, as they themselves posed as civilians of all ages with various injuries and conditions. The exam would conclude once every 'civilian' was evacuated successfully.

Maki's face contorted in annoyance. She hated rescue situations because she was more of a combat specialist and she didn't personally care about saving people. In fact, she would be fine with killing her enemies if she had to. But she supposed if she wanted to pass the exam and get her license, she'd have to grit her teeth and get on with it.

"VILLAINS HAVE COMMITTED AN ACT OF TERRORISM! THE AFFECTED AREA IS THE ENTIRETY OF THE CITY! THE DESTRUCTION OF NUMEROUS BUILDINGS HAS RESULTED IN A LARGE NUMBER OF VICTIMS! THE DAMAGE TO THE ROADS IS SEVERE! THE FIRST RESPONSE EMERGENCY UNIT WILL BE CONSIDERABLY LATE TO ARRIVE! UNTIL THEY ARRIVE, ALL RESCUE ACTIVITIES ON SITE WILL BE LEFT TO THE HEROS' COMMAND! SAVE EVERY LIFE YOU CAN!"

Upon the walls of the room opening up like the last time, the second stage officially began. The announcement made Maki perk up a bit. If this was the result of a villain attack, then that must have meant those villains were still in the area. She supposed she wouldn't get any points if she didn't help in the rescue effort, so she decided to guard the units that were rescuing people, in case the villains made an appearance. At the start of the test, Class 1A decided to stick together but after a while, they split up into groups to cover more ground. The second year students from the other schools set up first aid areas and cleared the way for when emergency services need to arrive. The hypothetical situation was all students had to help rescue people and secure the situation so that it could be handed over to the authorities in a smooth manner when they arrived. Maki was with a group that had made their way back to the first aid area when a large explosion occurred in one of the walls. 'Villains' dressed in black and grey bodysuits invaded through the hole in the wall, coming in their dozens. At the head of them was a massive figure of a black orca-like boss, deep eyes surveying the evacuation site with cold and malicious intent. The tall dorsal fin on his spine was a dead giveaway to his identity.

"No way..."
"Is that?!"
"Th-that's Gang Orca!" Midoriya gasped.
"WITH THE APPEARANCE OF THE VILLAINS, THE PURSUIT HAS BEGUN! HERO CANDIDATES WHO ARE ON LOCATION, MUST SUPPRESS THESE VILLAINS AND CONTINUE WITH YOUR RESCUE EFFORTS!"
Hazel eyes snapped up to the head 'villain', widening as she paled.
'They sent the number ten hero for this? They're not playing around at all! This is my chance, we have to defend the injured!' Her turned into an excited smirk.
"Midoriya, let's distract them!" She yelled before turning her head to the others, "You guys get everyone else evacuated!" She turned back to the goons and charged into them, using her Naginata quirk tool to take them down in hoards. Long weapons certainly had advantages against large groups. She also went after any that broke past their defensive line.

"Hey Eraser!"
Aizawa withheld a sigh, grumbling to himself as he glanced at the grinning woman next to him.
"What now?"
"Who's that girl with the pole arm weapon defending the evacuation area?" Joke asked, leaning forward intently, keeping a firm eye on the action bellow. "She's one of yours, right?"
He nodded, staying silent for a moment as he weighed his options and then opened his mouth to speak, "Maki Zenin, she's the best weapons combatant in her year. Maybe even the best in the school."
"Wow, really?! She must be good for you praise her like that. What quirk does she have? The Zenin clan tend to have strong quirks."
"She doesn't have one." Joke's expression quickly turned from curiosity to shock.
"What?! Shut up!"
"I'm not joking. Apparently, according to her file, she has something called a Heavenly Restriction. It gives her superhuman physical abilities in exchange for having no quirk. She uses weapons that are imbued with quirks to make up for that."
"Really, she's gotta be interesting to watch!"

Maki landed on her feet, chest heaving from having just performed a series of fast paced handsprings to dodge a barrage of attack from the goons who were trying to avenge their fallen comrades that she'd effortlessly taken down moments before. There was just no end to them, she wouldn't be able to hold them off much longer. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw the evacuees far away from harm.
'Good.'
She used a series of swings and kicks to take down an approaching group of goons. Before she could do anymore, the intercom blasted in her ears.
"Erm... could I have your attention please!" The main examiner announced over the intercom, the stadium suddenly in silence as his voice echoed. "All stationed members of the HUC have been rescued from the crisis area! This may be considerably selfish of me but with that, I must bring these Provisional Hero Licensing Exam to a close!"
"It's over already?" Maki muttered with a frown.
"After we tally the scores, I will present the results of the examination to you all here. Those who have suffered injuries please direct yourself to the medical office. The rest of you change back into your normal clothes and wait for further instructions, thank you."
'Huh, so it really is...'
Hazel eyes looked upward, shoulders slouching slightly in tiredness as she stared at the all-encompassing sky as it smearing of low level clouds were spread out across the horizon, obscuring proportions of the sky. The heavenly sun rays gleamed outlined the cotton-ball clouds in a blazing glow. She could distantly hear the voices that called her name growing nearer.

I was finally over...
