Maki was now well enough to be sent back to the youth centre and she was instantly bombarded with questions from her roommates. She just brushed them off and went to her room to get some sleep. The next day she decided to get back into shape and train her student. They both got into a stance, Maki's student with a shinai and Maki herself with a metal pole arm. The boy charged first and Maki parried each of his strikes with her weapon and launched some attacks of her own forcing him to defend himself. He had gotten a lot better and was already a skilled swordsman because of Maki's training, he was also much more confident in his abilities too. They began circling each other after Maki sent him back with a strong kick, he took his eyes of battle for a moment when he spotted some people he didn't recognise and Maki took full advantage of it and landed a blow on his face using the greater reach of her weapon.
"Don't get distracted." She reprimanded, he quickly apologised before getting back into the fight, parrying and dodging Maki's attacks. He made a feint for his opponent's left only to go for her right and swing the bamboo sword at her torso. He missed when Maki jumped into the air and flew over his head. Clearly recognising she was now off balance, he tightened his grip on the shinai, ready to get her on the landing. Maki anticipated this and landed in the splits, dodging his attack and earning a look of disbelief from her student. She followed by rolling on the ground, bringing her leg up to his torso which forced him onto his bottom, pulled his top half down to the floor and whacked his head with her weapon.
"Congrats, you're dead. I win again and remain undefeated!" She declared smugly, she had yet to loose against him.
"Was that last part even necessary?" He asked.
"Of course it is, if you don't experience pain, you have no hope in a real fight." She retorted, getting up and walking off the field. "That'll have to do for today, I have meeting to attend to." She added as she walked up the steps to meet All Might and Aizawa who had been watching their match.

They had chosen to sit at the meeting room table, the teachers taking up one side as Maki chose to sit on the other.
"How have you been young Maki?"
She shrugged "More or less fine.  I've been training a lot to get back into shape after what happened at the training camp."
"Well I'm glad you're doing okay."  All Might couldn't help but smile brightly at her.
"And you two, how's everything going?"
"Well enough." Aizawa sighed.
All Might looked at her.  "I'm doing better.  My injuries are healing up just fine, thank you for asking."
Maki just hummed in response.
Aizawa decided that since pleasantries were out the way they'd get to the situation at hand.  "As you know, due to the recent events the plan is to have all the students relocate to the UA dorms."
Maki nodded, taking a sip from her water bottle.  "Yes, we were all informed about it in advance.  I've read all the information on the notification you sent out."  Her eyes stared at them intensely, a weight in them that the teachers had seen before in her many times.  "My only question is, do I have even have a choice in the matter?"
Aizawa laced his fingers together, elbows resting on the table as his hair shadowed his features.  "You do have a choice.  However, due to your situation, there isn't much choice but to move into the dorms."
"I see.." Hazel eyes moved from him to All Might and back to the black haired man again. "Well, I don't see any way around it but to continue at UA."  Her answer made the former pro-hero's eye shine with hope and pleased the other. Well, if they were happy then that was that.

"Maki."
She'd walked them out, only to be polite, they stayed back and Maki gave them a questioning look.
"Who was the boy you were training?"
"His name is Yuta Okkotsu and I've been training him kenjutsu because he wanted to get stronger." She replied.
"How long have you been training him?" All Might asked
"Three months." Maki answered.
"Really?!" Shocked looks appeared on their faces. "You've done a good job, from what we saw during your sparring match earlier, he's very adept with a sword already. That makes me believe you can back up your claim to train Midoriya how to use that quirk tool a bit more." Aizawa said, making his way back to the car behind All Might. As she watched the car drive off in the distance, Maki felt a swell of pride in her chest at the small compliment.

A few days later, she left the place that had been her home for the last three years.

Nezu, headmaster of UA high school and a possible combination of several different animals, stood outside his office by the windows overlooking the newly constructed dorms. Rays of sunlight stood high in the sky, dousing the building in golden light, watching small specks of humans walk around on the ground below. He took a sip of his tea, letting out a contented sigh as the heat went down his throat as he began to have the students living on campus due to recent events.

'The new dorm we put into place isn't just to ensure the safety of our students. It's also how we're addressing one of the threats we have to take care of. The traitor. This is also for the purpose of probing them. In order to cut through the unrest which has been lingering in the air for too long, we're launching a private behind-the-scenes investigation. It pains me not just to suspect the teachers but the students as well. Unfortunately, right now, I have no other choice. We've lost the Symbol of Peace and I have no doubt that this will have big ramifications on us as time passes. What UA needs right now is positive energy and revitalisation. We must remind the children that there's a bright future ahead of them.

The traitor had best watch their back from now on. They would find that traitor... no matter what it took.
