Now that the show was over, they had to clean up. Maki didn't really want to but everyone had to do things they didn't like. She'd do it though, for her class.
Had she said she doesn't like cleaning before?
The others were already outside with boxes refilled with supplies and trash, cups with large blocks of ice that Todoroki and Bakugo were going to melt and some had dollies to carry the heavier supplies such as the stereos and instruments. She was one of those such people. A few of her classmates had brooms and mops and had already changed out of the dancing outfits, not wanting to ruin them. Tsuyu was struggling to untie the rope from Aoyama's waist.  Maki just changed out of her dance outfit because she didn't particularly like the big skirt.  She was now dressed in more comfortable casual clothes consisting of a white and pink striped long sleeved T-shirt, black tights with tan shorts worn over them and a matching teal coloured fleece and leg warmer socks with a pair of trainers.  To their right, civilians were talking about class 1B's performance.  They were unable to see it due to having to clean up, though perhaps there was a recording of it somewhere.  She was intrigued to see what they had managed to pull off.  To their left, Midoriya was getting scolded by All Might and then Ectoplasm and then they very fluffy but growling Hound Dog.  He was scolding and praising the green-haired youth at the same time with a mixture of growls in between.

"..." Maki had stopped to watch the scene, staring at the likely soft hair the guidance councillor had.  She kinda wanted to pet it.
"Don't even think about it." A voice said beside her.  Snapping her head to the right, Tokoyami had stopped beside her.  He had been pushing a cart stacked with the drum kit Bakugo had used.
"What do you mean?" All she was given was a blank look and a raised eyebrow that said it all.  Hazel eyes looked away as she began moving again, scowling.  "Shut it..."
Tokoyami snorted.
Fine.
She was gonna give him a good beat-down in training.
Suddenly, Maki snapped her gaze upwards when she saw Midoriya go flying from a hit from Hound Dog's paw-hand.
"The festival's still going on, so go and have fun!"
He spun in a swirl-like motion, landing with a groan not far away, face first.
"Woah!"
"It's a flying Midoriya!"
As Midoriya groaned again, he lifted himself up slowly and shook the dust off his outfit.  The teen let out a shaky laugh after a moment of wiggling his limbs about.  As her other classmates called to him to hurry up and help, he stopped by a grinning Mirio waving at them and a smiling Eri pumping her hands childishly.
"Hey, good job Buddy!" Mirio complimented as Sero walked past him.  Sero beamed at the older teen, a bucket filled with a big piece of ice in his hands.  Eri ran up to the cleaning students, a bunch of them stopping as she she began to regale them with her tale.

"That was crazy!  At first, when there was a loud noise it was scary but then everyone was jumping with the dance!  And then there was a flash and Deku, you went away for a little bit.  And the they guys started flying in the air!"  She raised her arms high, Mirio copying the move with his own arms.  "That's when it started to get cold and I saw birds!  And then there was a spinning light and a bunch of people said "WOOOW!" And you know what I said: "WOOOW!" Too!  It was so fun!"
A teary-eyed, smiling Midoriya wiped his eyes her smiled back at her.  "I'm glad you had such a good time, Eri."
Midoriya and Maki were then called over by and angry Mineta to help out with melting the ice.  Bakugo was blasting them to bits that could be easily melted which Todoroki was doing.  That made the process of disposing of the ice/water down the drain so much easier.  And it looked like Tsuyu was able to get the rope of Aoyama since he was helping with the ice situation as well.
"Class 1A!"
"Nice work!  That was a lot of fun!"
"That was really cool!  Great job!"
"Really?!  Thanks dudes!" Kirishima smiled at the passing audience members that left the gymnasium.  Even the ones had had come to ridicule them had apologised, yelling at them before running away into the crowd.
Kaminari sweat-dropped, watching the two leave.  "There wasn't any need for them to apologise..."
Maki rolled her eyes as Bakugo grinned arrogantly and viciously before catching his attention to blast more ice.
"I wonder if those were the stressed out people Mr Aizawa was talking about..." Kirishima muttered before grinning, looking over his shoulder at Ida, who stood slightly behind him.  "I guess that means we got through to them, huh Ida?"
"Indeed!" Ida nodded, "However, regardless of their reasons, the fact that people were watching also means there were people who were not!  And they my still be bottling those feelings inside even after today..."
