At the start of the year I went off hormones for I think it was about 6 weeks. Well now I've been on them since the beginning of April. Originally when I was on hormones I found that after five months on them, I began to get gastrointestinal pain (transwoman cramps). I had heard of a trans woman period like it was s Myth. Then I began experiencing them monthly for myself. A sudden increase in emotions, feeling irritated more easily and those horrendous cramps and not to mention the unexplained depression that hits like a brick. My stomach would make intense noises and I knew it was happening.
Well, I haven't experienced it since going back in hormones until now that is. My stomach began making loud noises, I felt unexplainedly tired and just tonight I started getting those horrendous cramps.
There's been so many studies into trans periods. It being a case of the placebo effect or possibly us wanting to be cisgender so much that we bring it on ourselves. There have also been studies saying that it's due to hormones needing to balance properly. I honestly don't know why some trans girls get them. I just know that it socks and I feel like if I tell people what I'm going through they'll take it like some big stupid joke. It doesn't feel like it though and this feels far more intense than what I was getting before.

I'm not going to write anymore I feel super emotional and I guess embarrassed.

If you do want to talk about your own experiences with it then feel free to comment and we'll chat.
