I woke up early that morning. It had been a few weeks into the school year and it already felt 10 times harder. I had completely forgotten all my transfiguration from last year and Snape was more prevalent than ever. Assigning mountains of homework. I had successfully hidden Rose on a happier note. No one even knew the dungeons went that far but me. She was now almost as tall as me which upset me because that meant she was growing up and soon would be huge. Well I mostly was upset that I could cuddle her anymore because she would squish me like a bug. I change to my tryout uniform and meet Draco in the common room. I headed down the stairs with my new broom to see infant a blonde with grey eyes but not the certain one I was looking for. I decided I might as well not my lonely while waiting so I said hello.

"Hiya Harper! Holidays good?" I ask him with enthusiasm which seems to catch him off guard for a few seconds.

"Yeah, they were lovely." He said a little sarcastically.

"That bad?" I ask. He shrugs,

"Mum hates magic, dad loves it. Don't know how they ever got married." He says calmly shrugging.

"Never heard a witch who doesn't like magic." I say surprised. He looks up at me,

"Oh, she's a muggle. Was a little shocked on the wedding day to have a bunch of unhappy pure bloods show up." He said, "Kept yelling at dad for ruining the blood line. Or what that means." He says, I gave a sympathetic look.

"Trying out?" I asked glancing at his broom and tryout fit. He nods,

"Guessing you are to?" I nod, he gives me a sad smile.

"You do know that girls aren't aloud on the team." He points out.

"Yup!" I say popping the 'p' "There's something fun about doing what everyone says you can't do." His gives me a quizzed look.

"What you going out for?" He asked

"Chaser." I tell him "Honestly it's a wonder why we have haven't won the Quidditch cup in a while with the chaser on our team." He gives a little laugh. "You?" I say with a smile.

"Seeker." He says plainly, my smile falters for a bit. Draco was also going out for seeker and he wasn't the best at it. Before my mind could go into panic I quickly responded.

"I'm sure you be great!" I say quickly. Thankfully Draco decided to show up and came down the stairs.

"See you at tryouts!" I tell him waving goodbye. He waves goodbye and I walk out with Draco. We started walking down to the Quidditch field. We walked silently for a while before I decide to speak up.

"He's going out for seeker to." I state out of no where.

"What? Who?" Draco asks really confused.

"Harper, your roommate. He's trying out for seeker and just wanted to let you know you got competition." I explain to him like a his a child.

"What great advice right before we got tryout!" He says a nervousness hinting in his voice. We enter the Quidditch field.

"Your be fine. Just try and beat your 11:23 without dragging me with you." I say trying to comfort him but end up not really helping and just walking away. We all assemble in a line as the captain Flint goes around and sorts us in our positions.

"Alright seekers over there! Beaters over there! Keepers and Chasers here!" He saying pointing in different directions.

"When I call your name go to your diaries position!" He says.

"Seekers!" Draco and Harper step out and head to the right group. The kinda just stare at each other weirdly for a while before Flint shouts the next group.
