We walked into Malfoy Manor. The House Elves were taking our stuff up to our rooms.

"Quickly change before He arrives." Naricissa said. Draco headed up to his room to change into what I assumed was a black suit. I headed to my room and changed into a black that had already been laid out on my bed by who I assumed to be Narcissa.

I heard voices come from downstairs, one of which was cackling very loudly. I had a guess of who that could be. I took a deep breath and walked out of my room towards the stairs.

"Ready?" I asked Draco who was standing at the top of the staircase. He grabbed my hand.

"I am now."

Together we headed down the staircase into the grand room. I saw familiar Death Eaters in the room as well as Bellatrix, and The Dark Lord. Narcissa was standing next to Bellatrix. She looked very anxious and worried. But I couldn't blame her. I was starting to feel the anxiety as Voldemort snake-like eyes drifted to us.

"Raelyn, Draco." He said. "It's good to finally see you again." The Death Eaters in the room lined up on either side of the room. "Come forward."

I glanced at Draco. The look of nervousness or anxiety was gone. Instead he had a prideful and anticipated look. Deep down I knew he would always have to become a Death Eater but it seemed surreal now that we were about to be marked together.

"Do you know who I've wanted to kill for a very long time?" Voldemort asked us. My brow furrowed confused what he was talking about. "Someone who stands in between me killing Harry Potter."

"Dumbledore." I said quietly. Voldemort smiled.

"Given Lucius Malfoy's recent disappointment at the Ministry I've decided to give the Malfoy family a chance at redemption." My eyes slid over to look at Draco. He seemed paler than usual. Voldemort looked at Draco. "You are tasked with killing Albus Dumbledore before the end of next year's term. Failure will result in the death of your immediate family." He glanced at me as well, as if to tell Draco I would be killed as well.

"Yes, my Lord." Draco said keeping his voice as steady as he could. Voldemort then looked at me.

"Raelyn, you have betrayed me." He said as if he was hurt by that fact. "You've helped Harry Potter escape my clutches time and time again." I felt a sinking pit in my stomach. "But I'm feeling generous today." I let out a breath I hadn't realized I had been holding. "I will forgive your betrayal as long as you pledge your service to me, and help Draco with his task."

"Thank you, my Lord." I tried to say it as sincerely as possible. Voldemort smiled maliciously. He held his hand out. I took a deep breath to calm myself as I presented my forearm to him. He pressed his wand into my skin. I felt like my veins were on fire. I forced myself to keep my stance steady and not show any sign of discomfort.

Voldemort grabbed Draco's wrist next and did the exact same thing. Except Draco couldn't conceal a small whimper as he was given the Dark Mark. I looked down at my arm. Once where there had been pale skin there was now a black tattoo. The tattoo was a skull with a snake entwined down my forearm.

I would have to wear long sleeves when in the presence of others to conceal the mark, I thought to myself. After our initiation many Death Eaters left. Voldemort instructed Bellatrix to teach me and Draco the Unforgivable Curses and prepare us for what we were to do, over the summer. With all the Death Eaters leaving, Draco and I began to exit the room to take our leave.

"Raelyn," Voldemort said. I stopped in my tracks. My heart raced. He was going to punish me now. "we have something to discuss." I eyed Draco who looked horrified that I would have to stay in the room alone with him. Narcissa grabbed Draco's arm and pulled him out of the room refusing to make eye contact with me. Bellatrix, the only remaining Death Eater in the room was also ordered to leave.
