~Summer~ Black at Large

I was outside giving Rose a bath that she desperately needed. While I was gone her and Draco played in the mud together and now she was a brown and clumsy dragon instead of a white shiny dragon. Really I think Draco was just watching her from the window since he would never get in dirt and he had no idea what I was talking about when I told him she was caked in mud. So here I am trying to clean a giant dragon without my wand. The ministry has been paying more attention to the Malfoys ever since the Azkaban breakout. Just in time Styx comes flying with the Daily Prophet. I open it up to read the latest news.

BLACK STILL AT LARGE

Sirius Black, possibly the most infamous prisoner ever to be held in Azkaban fortress, is still eluding capture, the Ministry of Magic confirmed today.

"We are doing all we can to recapture Black," said the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, this morning, "and we beg the magical community to remain calm."

Fudge has been criticised by some members of the International Confederation of Wizards for informing the Muggle Prime Minister of the crisis.

"Well, really, I had to, don't you know," said an irritable Fudge. "Black is mad. He's a danger to anyone who crosses him, magic or Muggle. I have the Prime Minister's assurance that he will not breathe a word of Black's true identity to anyone. And let's face it — who'd believe him if he did?"

While Muggles have been told that Black is carrying a gun (a kind of metal wand that Muggles use to kill each other), the magical community lives in fear of a massacre like that of twelve years ago, when Black murdered thirteen people with a single curse.

I sigh and set the paper on the ground and continue to wash Rose. The ministry had payed more attention the Malfoys since Sirius was Narcissa cousin. In a few weeks there forget about it as soon as Draco's dad does something amazingly generous to win them back over. I sigh and take a towel and try to dry Rose off but gave up knowing she would probably dry off in the sun soon. I still didn't know how I would sneak her into Hogwarts without anyone knowing. I had decided that I had spent enough time outside so I headed in the house to change since I had mud on my clothing. Once I had finished changing I headed back down stairs and picked my book I had left on the sofa. A few minutes after I had sat down a owl came flying in through the window and dropped two letters. One read Draco L Malfoy and the other read Raelyn F Gibson. I opened my letter and out came the school supplies list.

The only class I wasn't taking was muggle studies and ancient runes. Lucius wouldn't allow me or Draco to take muggle studies but I didn't want to take ancient runes it sounded boring. I hear foot steps coming from behind me. I turn my head around and see Draco walking towards me.

"Are schools letters arrived yet?" He asked, I nodded and pointed toward his letter and he picked it up. He started to read through the list.

"Muggle Studies what a stupid class. Who would want to study those stupid creatures." He mused. I rolled my eyes.
