*MATURE CONTENT*

The house was quiet when I entered it. An eerie quiet. As if many were here but all too afraid to utter a word. To fear to speak only meant one thing. Voldemort was here, and he was not pleased.

My footsteps echoed through the halls as I made my way towards the meeting room. I heard no voices behind the door I was too afraid to open. But I didn't have to, because just as I reached for the handle, the door swung wide open.

I froze, too afraid to move or speak. Death Eaters sat at the table in the center of the room. Voldemort at the head. My eyes flickered to the mirror on the wall where I caught a glimpse of myself.

Dirty face, unkempt hair, bloody shirt and even bloodier hands. I looked like a killer.

I could tell from the looks in the room that it had not been a pleasant meeting. A few laid dead on the ground. Others looked as though they had endured the cruciatus curse. Voldemort's eyes trail all over me. I feel a shiver creep up my spine as he looks over every single part of me while stroking Nagini's head. Whispering words I can't hear, and words no one else can understand.

Swallowing my fear I take a step into the room.

"Where are the others?" I normally hated when he spoke to me in Parseltongue. I always felt singled out and targeted. But now I am glad. I didn't want Draco to hear of what I had done.

"I killed them all."

A slow smile spread across his face. He laughed. I grabbed the ends of my shirt to keep from visibly shaking. I told myself I wouldn't be afraid. I told myself I would stand up to him.

"Do you hear that Nagini? She's killed them all." His voice laced with amusement as he gave a slow laugh once again. His face turned deadly once again. Fear shot threw me. He was going to kill me. Snape was next to him, he did not say a word as Voldemort stood up. No one did. Only the sound of his chair scraping against the ground could be heard. Even Bellatrix had gone quiet, which was very unusual.

"Be gone! Be gone all of you!" He shouted. I saw the panicked looks as they all scrambled out of there chairs and apparated away. Snape hesitated for a moment before disappearing. Bellatrix left the room quickly with Narcissa in tow. I briefly caught Draco's eye as they left.

I realized I was still standing here. I quickly turned toward the door once more hoping to escape him.

"Raelyn."

I swallowed hard and took a shaky breath.

"You stay,"

I was dead. This was it. This is how I would die. Dirty and caked in other people's blood. I hope it'll be quick. The killing curse would suffice. Quick and simple. No more pain. Please no more pain.

I feel his presence behind me. Nagini is at my feet. I turn around and stifle a gasp at his proximity. Our bodies are practically touching. I instantly try to step back but he catches my wrist and Nagini wraps around my legs keeping me from moving away.

I look anywhere but at his face until he grabs my own with his hands, jerks it forward until I have no other option than to look into his eyes. They are like a snakes. I was forced to look at his pale skin, skull-like face, slits for nostrils, red eyes and pressed against his skeletal body with unusually long fingers.

His fingers trace my jaw and I freeze unsure of what to do.

"I'm lucky you were born a woman."

His hands trail down to my body and his eyes roam everywhere but my face.
