I hear the click! of my trunk notifying me it had closed shut. I had made sure I had packed all my books and school uniforms and my new Nimbus 2001. I had also made sure to save room for Rose. She was starting to get way to big for my trunk and weighed twice as much. It took forever to get her to come up the stairs and poor Draco was trying to distract his parents with his not so good Quidditch skills. Rose way now as long and big as my trunk and had to really squeeze into my trunk. I planned to take her out on the way to Hogwarts since Astoria and Lucille new about her which is the only way she would get in the damn trunk. I grabbed my wand and headed down stairs with much effort as it was so heavy. I sat it next to Draco's panting.
The Malfoys looked at me weird and Draco quickly grabbed my hand so they would ask questions. I silently thanked him as she did a fake cough to cover up Roses sneeze from my trunk. I was glad I decided to fire proof my stuff and trunk knowing if I didn't we would have a issue. Crack!
We landed on platform 9 3/4. I heaved my trunk half way to the train before I remembered to cast a weightless charm on it knowing it couldn't be dedicated with some many wizards around. Draco boarded the train but I was yet again held back by Lucius.
"Here," he sneered shoving a old diary in my hands. "Best behavior!" He said hastily, I was opened my mouth to say something back but the Hogwarts express train blew its whistle. I quickly grabbed my trunk and got onto the train. It didn't take long to find Astoria and Lucille. I gave them all a quick hug.
"So got a compartment yet?" I ask them, Astoria opened her mouth to answer but was grabbed by .
"Astoria! You know better then to hang out with these dirty bloods!" Daphne's yelled at her. I gave her a cold harsh glare.
"The only reason I won't tell father is because your hanging out with Gibson, who has one of the purest blood lines. But Fawcett! You know her parents are a mud blood and her mother is from mud bloods!" Daphne screamed at her quietly.
"Shut up, Daphne!" Astoria said icily, I looked over at Lucille who had gone a little red and was looking at the ground.
"Your sitting with me and not this filth!" Daphne said grabbing Astoria and dragging her into her compartment. I give a comforting look to Lucille.
"We should find a compartment." I say gently.
"Yeah, about that. I kinda told my friend I'd sit with him." She said sheepishly "And by friend I kinda me that boy I was writing to." I sighed
"Okay, that's fine I'll talk to you later at Hogwarts." I tell her as she walked off to another compartment. I decided to be bold and opened a compartment to sit in to find a blonde haired little girl with weird glasses and Ron's little sister.
"I was wondering if I could sit here?" I asked them, they nodded and sat down. I opened my trunk and Rose jumped out onto my lap. My eyes went wide I realized who I was with.
"Please don't tell anyone! She's harmless really!" I say quickly a little panicked.
"She's beautiful! Antipodean Opaleye those are just the best dragons!" The blonde haired girl said dreamily. I smiled a little.
"You own a dragon?" Ron's sister said. I nodded
"Found her abandoned in the forbidden forest last year. Couldn't leave her and Draco has done a good job of keeping her hidden with me from his his parents." I explained, the girl seemed to stiffen at the mention of a Malfoy.
"Your Ron's sister right? Weasley if I'm correct?" I ask nicely trying to sound friendly so she wouldn't immediately hate me. She nodded yes.
"I'm Ginny," she responded "That's Luna Lovegood." She said pointed to the blonde girl who was dreamily looking out the window. She turned to us.
