I walked into Leah's house, hoping to find her waiting on me but she was no where to be seen. What the hell. My heart started to race. Surely she would have been home before me?

"Leah!", I shout out as I make my way round her house. No sign of her. Fuck. Okay don't panic, don't panic.

I dial her contact and it goes straight to voicemail. Seriously. I ring a few more times and again it goes to voicemail.

"Fuck!", I shouted as I threw my phone onto the sofa. Usually I'd think this was an overreaction, but with everything that's happened with James and my job, there's always a possibility that there's someone else out there.

I decide to send Leah a message and hope to god she replies.

Y/N:
Are you okay?

Please just let me know if you're okay Leah

I need to know you're safe

This isn't funny Leah, where the hell are you?!

It's now currently 3am and I just have this pit in my stomach. I've sat on the sofa, unable to stop the tears streaming down my face. I thought about ringing one of the girls or Amanda but I didn't want to worry them. I suddenly hear keys jingling in the door as I jumped off the sofa and quickly made my way to the door.

Leah walked in and set the keys on the table. She looked exhausted, probably much like how I looked right now.

"Where the hell have you been!", I shouted at her, tears threatening to spill from my eyes. God I'm so angry.

"Not now Y/N/N, I'm tired", Leah sighed as she looked at me.

"You're tired?", I scoffed as I glared at her, "are you fucking kidding me?! I've been waiting up for you for hours Leah, I was worried sick, I called, I texted, and you didn't reply. What if something happened to you? What if someone did something to you? You know the risks with my job, if someone did something to you I would never be able to forgive myself. Fuck Leah. All I needed was a text to let me know you were safe!", I sobbed as Leah's eyes softened and she pulled me into her chest.

"Fuck Y/N, I didn't think. I'm so sorry I worried you. My phone died and it took me ages to get a taxi. I'm so sorry", she whispered as her grip on me tightened. I didn't have the energy to argue with her tonight so I let her hold me. I could feel the exhaustion taken over me as my eyes started to flutter and I tried to hold myself up.

Leah put her hands on my thighs as she lifted me up and I wrapped my arms round her neck and my legs round her waist.

"Let's get you to bed", she said kissing my head as I just hummed in response. She carried me up the stairs and placed me in the bed, covering me with the duvet and placing a kiss in my head.

"Where are you going?", I whined as she let out a giggle.

"I'm just going to change baby", she whispered as I groaned and let her go.

I could feel my eyes starting to close again as Leah crawled in behind me and wrapped her arms round my waist.

"I love you", she mumbled into my neck and giving me a kiss.

"I love you too", I mumbled back as I fell asleep almost instantly.

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed but the smell of food coming from downstairs. I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and I still looked exhausted, my eyes were red and I just looked dishevelled. I sighed as I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Why do I get the feeling you're trying to grovel?", I asked once I seen Leah trying to multitask by making us breakfast.

"This is my way of saying sorry for last night", she said sheepishly as she rubbed her neck and I smiled at how nervous she got.

"Yea we need to talk about that", I sighed as she nodded.

"So where were you?", I asked as I took a bite of the food.

"I got a call from a friend, she was pretty wasted and sounded like she was in trouble. When I got there she could barely stand so I took her home. I ended up falling asleep and my phone died", she finished as she looked at me.

"She?", I asked as I could feel myself becoming jealous. She fell asleep at her house, I'm not sure what to think.

"Yes, she. I fell asleep on the sofa", she said softly as I just nodded. I felt like she was holding something back but I didn't want to push this.

"Okay", I whispered as I walked over to her and sat in her lap, burying my head in her chest.

"Don't ever scare me like that again", I said to her as she rubbed her hand up and down my back.

"I promise", she whispered as she kissed my head.

It's been a few weeks since that night with Leah, we didn't bring it up after that. I was so mad with her but after she explained it calmed me down. But my gut still told me there was something I didn't know.

Leah and the girls all go to camp next week. I'm going to miss them a lot. The World Cup is being played here, so at least I'll be able to watch in person, but she'll be in camp for about 8 weeks and the thought of being away from her for that long is painful.

Tonight we're all going out, one last party before the girls have to get back into training habits and avoid the alcohol. Em and Lia have been amazing too, they're so in love and I'm glad I found that with Leah.

Me, Em, Leah and Lia were on our way to the club. Em had sneaked us a flask full of vodka before we got into the club. Leah and Lia just shared looks as me and arm giggled while taking a swig of the vodka. There was only a little left as we pulled up to the club and were escorted inside to a VIP table.

"The party has arrived!", I screamed taking a bow as everyone clapped and cheered. Everyone was already here, Alessia, Beth, Viv, Steph, Katie and a few other arsenal girls like Frida, Gio, Jen, and her girlfriend Amber.

Us 4 joined them as we sat round the table and Leah pulled me into her lap as everyone made gagging noises making us roll our eyes.

"There's other seats you know", I whispered into her ear as she tightened her grip around my waist.

"So you'd rather sit on one of them than on your girlfriend", she pouted as I have her a quick peck.

"Of course not", I smirked as I got comfortable in her lap.

A few hours later and everyone has become slightly more drunk, me, Katie and Beth being the worst of course.

"Let's dance!", I screamed as me, Katie, and Beth stumbled to the dance floor with everyone dragging behind us.

We all started to dance around to the music, the alcohol going to our heads as we were laughing our asses off at everything.

I felt soft hands wrap around me from behind and a soft kiss being placed on my cheek.

"You're so beautiful", Leah whispered making me blush as we both moved in sync with the music. We continued to dance like this until I excused myself to go and get a drink with Beth and Katie.

"I love you guys so much", I slurred as I wrapped my arms around their necks.

"We love you too Y/N/N", they laughed as we ordered our drinks.

"Could I have a vodka lemonade", we heard a voice from beside us as well all turned around.

"Vanessa?", Katie questioned as she narrowed her eyes, clearly thinking this wasn't real and she was just drunk.

"Vanessa?" I asked Beth with wide eyes.

"Omg Vanessa", Beth said cheerily giving me a sympathetic smile.

"I didn't know you guys were here", she said surprised as she finally looked at me and gave me a soft smile which I returned. It went silent for a few minutes, everyone knowing the history but being too awkward to say anything.

"What was that Viv? Yea we're coming", Beth shouted to no one as her and Katie left us alone. I internally rolled my eyes, knowing that Viv in fact did not shout on them, she just wanted an excuse to leave the awkward situation.

I cleared my throat and looked over to Vanessa. Kill me.

"So", she muttered as I sucked in a breath.

"So", I mumbled. This is awkward.
