Thought she knew

"I'm really sorry about everything, I didn't want you to end up in the middle", I sighed as Vanessa looked at me.

"Don't apologise okay, if anything I should be the one apologising", she breathed out as I just looked at her confused.

"What do you mean?", I questioned, my eyebrows furrowed.

"That night a few weeks ago when I called Leah and I was drunk. She took me home and I kissed her but she said she was with you now and I felt so stupid. She fell asleep in my sofa but she was gone the next morning", she mumbled.

Okay. What the literal fuck. I try not to let myself get angry, especially at Vanessa. After everything I've done, I deserved it.

"Oh my god you didn't know, I'm sorry I thought Leah would have told you", she said panicked as I just closed my eyes.

"She didn't", I mumbled before finishing my drink. I knew I was wasted and this conversation was not helping. I started to laugh as Vanessa looked on in confusion.

"Let's be real, kinda deserved that one, look at what I put her through last year", I laughed as Vanessa sighed.

"You're drunk, we should get you home", she said as I just waved her off.

I looked up to the dance floor and seen all the girls and Leah looking at me concerned. When I looked at Leah that's when it started to hurt. I didn't deserve this, did I? I could feel my eyes start to water as Leah made her way over to me.

"I'm sorry Leah, I thought she knew about that night. Look, she's really drunk, just take her home and talk to her tomorrow", she said softly.

As she was about to help me up, the rest of the girls came over and noticed my state.

"What's going on?", Beth asked as the rest of the girls looked on.

"You remember that games night at your guys house a few weeks ago?", I slurred.

"Y/N/N please", Leah begged as I grabbed her hand.

"I'm not mad don't worry, how can I be", I stuttered out as her eyes softened.

"What about that night?", Alessia asked.

"It was Vanessa who called Leah and she went to take her home because she was drunk and she fell asleep on her sofa, but Vanessa just told me they kissed", I laughed again. Really I don't know why I'm laughing, I'm way too drunk.

"Leah what the fuck", Em glared at her.

"Oh come on guys it's fine. Kind of deserved it anyway. Let's drink", I slurred as I stood up and stumbled before being caught by Leah.

"Yea I think you've had enough Y/N/N, let's just call it a night", Beth said as we all went outside.

The fresh air hit me and it was like I was back to reality. I pushed Leah away from me and stumbled again being caught by Lia.

"You lied to me", I breathed out as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I know and I'm sorry, she kissed me and I pushed her off. She was drunk and upset. I thought if I told you it would just hurt you", she said softly as I shook my head.

"You still lied to me, I would have understood", I mumbled as a tear flowed down her cheek as my eyes softened.

"Let me take you home, please", she begged as I just nodded and she pulled me into her arms.

"Let us know when you get home", Steph said after she helped Leah put me in the passenger seat.

"Yea you too", she smiled as she got in the car and we drove off.

Leah's POV:
I thought it was for the best that I didn't tell her, I knew it would hurt her and I didn't want to do that. I should have known she would have understood though, she's just mad I lied to her.

She fell asleep in the car and I kept glancing over at her every so often. I couldn't imagine losing her. She's perfect, she may not believe that but in my eyes she's nothing but perfect. I sighed as I returned my eyes to the road. How could I be so stupid.

I pulled up to Y/Ns house, deciding she'd probably feel more comfortable there. I tried to wake her up but I was just met with a few grumbles in return. I rolled my eyes as I went round to the passenger door and lifted her out, carrying her bridal style.

I laid her down in the bed as she was still fast asleep, I quickly changed her as she kept mumbling incoherently making me laugh. I decided I'd sleep in the sofa, not sure if she would want me beside her.

I grabbed a spare blanket and made my way to the sofa. I lay awake for the next hour, my thoughts keeping me up. Just as I was about to fall asleep I heard a voice.

"Leah", Y/N said in a croaky voice, "what are you doing?".

"Trying to sleep", I said confused as she just rolled her eyes.

"Come to bed Leah", she said still half asleep.

"Are you sure?", I asked, not wanting to push.

"I want cuddles", she mumbled as she grabbed my hand and led me upstairs. We both climbed into bed as she rolled over so I could be the big spoon. I heard her breathing even out letting me know she was asleep and I followed soon after.

I woke up at around 9.30am noticing that Y/N wasn't in the bed.

"Y/N/N", I called out for her. I heard wretching coming from the bathroom and I soon realised she was being sick.

I quickly filled up a glass with water and made my way into the bathroom. I set the glass beside the sink and held her hair and rubbed her back.

"Let it all out", I whispered as she flushed the toilet and lay back against the wall.

"Here", I said softly reaching her the glass of water which she gratefully took.

"I'm sorry for lying to you", I said as I joined her on the floor.

"It's okay, I get why you didn't want to tell me, but just talk to me next time", she mumbled and sent me a soft smile. We sat there for a while in a comfortable silence until Y/Ns stomach started to rumble and we both laughed.

"I need food", she groaned as we made our way into the living room.

"McDonald's?", I questioned as she hummed in approval. I ordered a shit tonne of food and sat beside her on the sofa as she cuddled into me and sighed contently.

The food eventually came as we both devoured it, barely taking the time to taste it.

"Feel better?", I asked her as she just looked at me and licked her lips.

"Almost", she smirked as I just raised my eyebrows. I think I know where this is going.

"You remember that deal we made at Beth and Vivs?", I asked her as her eyes darkened.

"Mmhmm", she nodded as I walked towards her.

"We need to go back to my house if you want me to follow through on that deal", I mumbled as I grabbed her hands and pulled her towards me.

"Why's that?", she breathed out as I just smirked.

"You'll see", I whispered as I gave her a quick peck and dragged her out the door behind me.
