"Someone have a little too much to drink?", I heard Amanda say to Leah as I was sat on her sofa with a pair of sunglasses on and my eyes closed. I don't think I've ever been so hungover in my life. I heard the pair of them laugh as I let out a loud groan so they know I can hear them.
"She brought everyone down with her too, had most of the girls absolutely pissed and half of them ended up on the bathroom floor laughing at each other. It was not fun trying to get them all to bed", Leah explained.
"I'm sure I could guess who they were", Amanda laughed. "I'll go grab Mackenzie for you, her bag is in the living room", Amanda said as she made her way upstairs.
"Painkillers not kicked in yet?", Leah asked sarcastically as I just flipped her off.
"I need food, can we stop at McDonald's after picking up Ava?", I pouted at her as she pecked my lips.
"Anything for you", she teased as I let out another groan and buried my head in her neck.
"Why did you let all the girls let me drink so much", I whined as Leah let out a scoff.
"Really? You're blaming me?", she laughed, "this is just the consequences of your own actions, blame Beth, Katie, Less, and Em"
"Oh I already have, I messaged them once we left", I mumbled as Amanda came downstairs with a sleepy Mackenzie in her arms. Leah got up and walked over to her and took Mackenzie in her arms.
"Hello, princess", she cooed down at her making me smile.
"Are you 2 thinking about another one?", Amanda asked from beside me as we watched Leah make faces at Mackenzie to try and make her laugh.
"Yeah, maybe in another year or so", I said softly.
"Say Arsenal", Leah said in a baby voice.
"Leah", I scolded, "Arsenal is not going to be her first word". I said rolling my eyes with a laugh as I walked over and she handed Mackenzie over to me.
"No harm in trying", she shrugged as Mackenzie looked more awake and her little hands grabbed onto my cheeks.
"You know, you don't seem so hungover now, I think you're just milking it", Leah teased as I glared at her.
We said our goodbyes to Amanda and thanked her before we left to pick up Ava.
"You're staring holes in our child", Leah joked as I was turned in my seat and staring at Mackenzie.
"She's just too damn cute, I think she cured my hangover", I cooed.
"What am I? Chopped liver", Leah said offended as I placed my hand on her thigh.
"Don't worry baby, you can cure my hangover later", I said winking at her as she smirked.
"I can't wait to have you-"
"Leah! Not in front of the baby", I scolded as we both started to laugh. We soon pulled up outside of Mia's house as we waited for Ava to come out. We watched as the 2 of them opened the door and Mia placed a quick kiss on Ava's cheek making her blush. Me and Leah smirked at each other as Ava got in the car and we waved bye to Mia.
"You look like shit", Ava said with a smirk.
"You look like you're blushing", I teased as she glared at me.
"Shut up", she mumbled.
"McDonald's? Or have you already eaten?", Leah asked as Ava's eyes widened.
"Uh- what- eh-"
"Oh my god, it wasn't a dirty question Ava", I said clenching my eyes shut.
"Wait what? What am I missing- oh, ew! Food Ava, I meant food", Leah grimaced as Ava's face went bright red.
"Eh no, I haven't eaten, food, I haven't eaten food-"
"Oh god you're just making it worse", I said pinching the bridge of my nose as Leah just reached to turn the music up. Once we got our McDonald's we headed home.
After eating and thankfully forgetting about our conversation in the car, me and Leah sat on the sofa as Ava sat on the single chair and Mackenzie was playing on the floor with some of her toys.
"Lia suggested we get a camera so we can record Mackenzies first moments since you missed her crawling for the first time", Leah said as she reached to the side and lifted up a camera.
"That's a great idea babe", I said kissing her cheek as I cuddled into her and friends played in the background.
"How do you feel now?", Leah said kissing my head and massaging my scalp with her fingers.
"So much better now you're doing that", I mumbled as my eyes fluttered shut.
"Oh my god!", Ava shouted as me and Leah jumped and looked at her, "get the camera!", Ava said as me and Leah looked to Mackenzie and seen her pulling herself up.
"Oh my god, Le", I said excitedly tapping my hands against her legs. She fumbled for the camera as Ava beckoned Mackenzie over to her. Mackenzie started to giggle as she slowly walked her way over to Mackenzie.
"What the fuck is wrong with this camera", she groaned as I wanted on intently with a massive smile on my face.
"Ha! Got it!", Leah shouted with a smile as she followed Mackenzie with the camera until she reached Ava and Ava caught her. Me and Leah looked at each other with tears in our eyes as I rested my head on her shoulder and we watched Mackenzie and Ava laugh at each other with massive smiles on our faces.
"I can't wait for another one", I muttered.
"Me neither, I love you, Y/N/N", Leah said as she stroked my arm.
"I love you, Le".
