It's been a few weeks since that morning in Beth and Viv's. I haven't heard anything from Leah but the girls have been great. They've told both me and Leah that they aren't getting involved but they're here if we need them.
I'd say Leah wasn't happy with that, considering the reason she went off on me in the first place was because everyone was talking to me again.
I stayed at Amanda's for a few days when I showed up at her house. I luckily enough managed to get my house back as the people who bought it are selling it again. I needed my own place, I felt like a burden to everyone that I stayed with.
When I was staying with Amanda, I went out late at night and didn't return till the morning, she knew I was going out to get drunk and eventually she sat me down and told me to cut the shit, so I did.
My mum had been looking after Holly for the year I was gone, so once I got my house back, a lot of time was spent with her, both of us lying on the sofa and watching TV.
I was sitting on the sofa having yet another lazy day. I had ordered a pizza but of course, I wasn't able to finish it. I leaned back on the sofa with a full stomach and a glass of white wine. Don't worry, just the one for me tonight.
I was in the middle of watching a movie when my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID to see Beth's name.
"Hey Beth, everything okay?", I asked as I picked up the phone.
"Have you seen Leah?", she asked as I just let out a laugh but was met with silence.
"Oh you're serious? Leah isn't exactly my biggest fan right now Beth", I sighed.
"I know but no one else has seen or heard from her today, she's been a mess since that day at mine and Viv's, she really regrets what she said to you Y/N/N", Beth sighed out as I heard a knock at the door.
"Hold on Beth, there's someone at my door", I said as I made my way to the door. What I found on the other side was a shock. It was Leah, she was absolutely drenched so she must have been out in the rain for a while.
"Leah?", I questioned confused.
"Leah? Y/N talk to me", Beth said through the phone.
"Leah's here Beth, she's okay, I'll text you later", I said as I ended the call.
"What are you doing here Leah?", I questioned, I thought I'd be the last person she would want to see.
"I don't hate you", she mumbled. Great she's drunk.
"You're drunk", I sighed as she just mumbled a sorry in return, she was shivering and I couldn't exactly tell her to go home. I gently pulled her into the house and upstairs to my room.
"Here, you need to change out of those clothes", I said handing her a pair of grey bottoms and a jumper.
She took the clothes and without warning she started to take off her top as I went red and immediately turned around. I could hear her giggling behind me as I just told my eyes.
"It's nothing you haven't seen before Y/N/N", my heart fluttered at the nickname she used to call me but I quickly shook the feeling away.
"That's not the point, we aren't together anymore Le, you have a girlfriend", I said softly as I just heard her groan behind me. She sounded like she was struggling with something so I slowly moved my head to the side, thankfully she had put the jumper on.
She was struggling with undoing the button on her jeans as I tried to stifle a laugh.
"It's not funny", she slurred as I let out a laugh.
"Can you help me?", she mumbled as I sucked in a breath. I just nodded and slowly made my way over to her, desperately trying to avoid eye contact.
I slowly moved my hands to the button of her jeans as I removed the button and undid the zip. I looked up at her to see she was already looking at me with glazed over eyes. She's so drunk. I cleared my throat as I moved away from her.
"I'll meet you downstairs", I said to her before I left and headed back into the living room. What is happening right now. I sat myself down on the sofa letting out a sigh and closing my eyes.
Leah came down not long after, stumbling all over the place as she sat down. She glanced at me as she mumbled, "thanks for the clothes", and I offered her a small smile.
She leaned forward and picked up my glass of wine as she brought it to her lips, I quickly reached out and grabbed it off her as she let out a groan of disapproval.
"That's mine, and I think you've had enough", I said softly as I placed the glass back on the table.
"I don't care what you think", Leah replied as I just sighed.
"What are you doing here Leah? If you've came to yell at me some more then you can just leave", I said, already getting annoyed at this whole situation.
"I'm sorry about what I said, I didn't mean it", she slurred as my eyes softened.
"You're just drunk", I smiled sadly as she shook her head.
"I mean it, I'm sorry", she sighed as she leaned her head back against the sofa and closed her eyes.
"Wait here", I said softly as I walked into the kitchen. I heated up 2 slices of pizza and filled up a glass with water. I walked back into the living room and left the water on the table and reached her the pizza.
"Eat this, and then drink that please", I said softly as she smiled.
"Bossy", she smirked and I just rolled my eyes, trying to suppress the smile coming onto my face. She finished the pizza as we sat in silence and then she downed the water.
"Thanks", she mumbled.
"Come on, you can sleep in my bed, I'll take the sofa", I said as I stood up and she shook her head.
"I'm not taking your bed Y/N/N", again with the nickname. Damn it.
"Please Leah, I don't want to argue with you anymore, I'm too tired", I sighed as she just nodded and stood up. We made our way upstairs as I grabbed a sports bra and a pair of shorts, knowing the living room can get extremely warm.
"Let me know if you need anything", I said smiling as she thanked me and I made my way downstairs.
I changed into the shorts and sports bra, tracing my finger over the many scars in my stomach, a permanent reminder of James Stone. I sent Beth a quick message and let her know Leah was okay and then I grabbed a spare blanket and settled into the sofa, falling asleep with nothing but Leah on my mind
