It's been 3 days since mine and Leah's fight, I've tried to call her and left her so many messages but she isn't responding and I know she's seen them. These past 3 days I've barely moved from my bed, I haven't showered and I've only been eating takeaways, even Holly went downstairs and I knew it was because I stink. I heard someone let themselves in the house and I knew it was Em.
"Seriously Y/N, you stink and this place is a mess", she said glaring at me, "leave me alone Em, let me smell in peace", I groaned out with my head still in my pillows. "You're really just gonna lie here feeling sorry for yourself instead of talking to Leah?", she asked, "she doesn't want to talk to me, I've already tried", I mumbled trying to hold back my tears.
Em sighed and stood up from the bed, "I'll be back later, I'm going to go out and buy you actual groceries", she said walking out of my bedroom, "knock next time!", I shouted after her, burying my head back in the pillows.
It was about 30 minutes later when I heard someone continuously knocking on the door, making me groan in annoyance, "I'm gonna kill her", I said, angrily making my way downstairs wrapped in my duvet, "seriously Em, what do you-", I stopped myself mid sentence after seeing who was at the door.
"Leah?", I breathed out, "Em was right", she said, "right about what?", I asked confused, "you do look like shit", she said letting herself in, "look if you've came her to judge then you can go, I'm already getting enough from Em", I said rolling my eyes.
"I came here to hear you out, Em convinced me to", she said sitting down, "but you should shower first", she added, "you're gonna let me explain?", I asked shocked, "after you shower", she reiterated, making me roll my eyes and head upstairs. I took a long shower, washing the past 3 days off of me.
I made my way downstairs, nervous as to where this conversation is gonna go. I sat down beside Leah and she just looked at me, as if telling me to go on. "Right eh- sorry", I said clearing my throat. "I thought telling you we caught him even though we didn't might have brought you some peace of mind, I didn't want you to be living in fear until we caught him, I thought I was doing the right thing", I whispered the last sentence.
"You still lied to me", she sighed, making me look down, assuming this conversation isn't going how I expected it to, "but", she said, making me look up, "I get why you lied, I know you were just trying to protect me, but don't ever lie to me again okay?", she said smiling to which I nodded. "Now come here", she said, she didn't have to tell me twice, we both laid cuddled on the sofa and was joined by Holly. "I really am sorry", I said breaking the silence, "don't worry about it", she said kissing my head, both of us exchanging I love you's.
"My family wants to meet you", Leah said out of no where making me tense. "Really? I don't have any days off until next Saturday", I said, "that's my game against Man City", she said to which I smiled and replied, "I know, that's why I booked it off, I wanna see you win the league", she leaned down and gave me a passionate kiss, "have I ever told you how much I love you", "a few times", I laughed. "My family are gonna be there, is that okay?", she asked nervously, I laughed and replied, "of course it is Le, I want to meet your family", "they can't wait to meet you, they've heard a lot about you", she said, "oh have they?" I asked smirking, "hmm, they've heard all about my hot detective girlfriend", she said smiling making me blush. We had a movie marathon until we both got too tired to stay awake, heading to bed and falling asleep quickly.
