(Short Chapter)
"Why don't you celebrate Fathers Day? I know your father isn't around, but you can still celebrate!"
I'm sorry, can you not hear yourself talk?
No, I don't celebrate Fathers Day, because I don't have one. Mothers day is even weird for me, because I appreciate my mom everyday.
But no, Fathers Day isn't a holiday for me; it's just another day of the week for me.
Now, that doesn't mean that I have any grudge or anger towards those who celebrate; I used to be that kid, but I now see that being angered by not having a father is completely irrelevant, because he's irrelevant. (As you've probably caught onto by now, I'm not very fond of my paternal parental unit.)
I have no vendetta against the holiday, it's just pointless in my everyday life.
