Bleach

No, Not the anime.

I despise trying to bleach My hair, and I've only done it twice.

I attempted to dye my hair purple not too long ago. So, I did what a normal, sensible human would, and bleached my hair first.

Er, tried to.

Now, My hair was fairly dark to start with, (it was a mahogany sort of violet-red-brown colour) ((also known as mahogany)), but it wasn't as dark as I've had it before.

I bleached a streak of hair one other time to dye pink, and it bleached perfectly.

(For some reason, Splat makes horribly short-lasting hair colour, but God-sent amazing bleach).

Maybe that's why it's $8...

Anyways,

When I washed out the bleach, My bangs were a weird caramel-blonde colour, My roots were shockingly blonde, and the rest hadn't hardly changed.

So, I wound up putting more mahogany colour in, but dyeing my bangs purple.

(But that faded, So now they're blue. Because when you think mahogany, you pair it with aqua. Woo, go weird combinations!)

Point being, I don't understand Why the bleach didn't take. I've seen people with black hair bleach theirs with the same stuff that I used, and it came out perfectly for unnatural hair colour to take to.

I guess my hair is just weird(?)
