I somehow always end up at forensics.
I went from forensic scientist, to behavioural forensics, to criminal psychologist, to crime scene investigation.
(You can probably tell where my range of interest is.)
I don't understand why this has to be so HARD.
Actually, I understand perfectly, but that's beside my point.
POINT BEING
It is extremely difficult to try to find a career that you love when you know in the back of your mind that you can hardly afford the schooling for a Bachelor's degree, let alone
-Medical School
-2+ more years after that of college
-8 years total for a Master's degree
-All the forensics jobs seem to be in Texas, and you're far from there
-Seriously,
-Like, eight of the openings that I found on a list of ten areas that need crime scene investigators/criminal investigators are in Texas
-What's up with Texas?
-Is that the new crime hot spot?
ANYWAYS
Unless you're a wealthy Texan, a degree and finding a really good paying job in said field, are extremely difficult.
But I'm holding out for scholarships, woo.
