GUESS WHO'S BACK
IT ME

Followers: 20K
Following: 3

Do you know how crappy that is? Don't get Me wrong; I'm not following EVERY person that's followed Me, but really?

It's ridiculous, to think that it can really look bad to some people if you follow a lot of accounts.

"They only got followers because they followed a bunch of people."

Or
Or
They're talented writers who earned the people that follow them?
Or maybe they're really pleasant to talk with?

Or they'll say that they "can't follow them" because they're "small, so they're not good."
Mate, need I remind you that, at a point, you also only had 17 reads and 3 followers?
Hell, that's shocking when you first start out. I would know.
Actually look at their content before dismissing them for only having 6 followers.

Furthermore, I noticed a trend. Now, I don't care who you are. If you're on here, at one point you had a goal to get famous. It's not a bad one, but there's a consistent variable I've noticed.
Many of the fantastic stories I've read, (particularly fanfics in this case), have 1/3 the reads they should.

Why?
They have no smut.

This particularly bothers me. I feel that a person's work should be based as a whole, Not on whether or not the characters get busy regularly.

For example,  I'm thankful for the 21K reads in my most popular story. However, I found one ridiculously similar, with a similar title, that has twice the reads I have.

Because it has smut.
How do I know this?
The author stated it.

True, some are really talented. But some accounts can have I've book with one chapter, with nothing but smut, and they get big (mainly) from just the coitus.

If you're going to judge a person or a piece of work, all I ask is that it's on full content, Not one aspect.
